The price at 1300k US unfortunately negates most of the benefit. How do I connect to my local repeater when I am far from it? Using DMRoip I’m guessing. I followed what you did in the video but it doesn’t work. I just end up on the talk group I selected, and not connecting to my local repeater. Maybe I’m missing something. Can you explain the steps please

If you buy the B1+ you gain USBC charging. Do you still get the base charger /base charger ability ,or do you sacrifice one for the other? I have tossed a few cell phones becaue the USBC input goes bad. I would still want to retain a base charger.

Yes. It has the a ility to do private calls. If you have more questions about the rfinder B1+ or other rfinder products search and join the Facebook group. They're very supportive and helpful.
@@techwithjowe3468 Thx. My take: 1) Very pricey 2) Unknown radio quality, 3) Low power, 4) Not very useful as every day cell phone. I would like to have that cellphone thing including the camera completely gone. I would rather have a high power Android based HT with WiFi. Have fun with your toy.

You can download a whole country before leaving home from WiFi.

Can you program and listen only to FRS/GMRS 462-467 Mhz frequencies?
Yes you can, and if you had your GMRS license as well you could transmit on those frequencies too.
