Briere always expressed love for philly and never was an ego guy always an absolute professional and team first guy. And sharp! I think its a fantastic fit for us to have him as GM in philly.
This team will never win retooling, a full rebuild is the answer but the Comcastocrats will never support losing cash to go forward. Under this “great gm” we lost a very good prospect & there is a bunch of players in the league that will never play for torts, the relic of the modern day nhl.
Flyers are run on nepotism and have been for the last 40 years. Scouts and your biggest decision-makers all have ties to the organization. Unfortunately, the new hires make the same mistakes as the ones before them.

This franchise has not been successful in many many years. We need proven NHL level talent. When Ken Holland left Detroit i screamed for the Flyers to persue him. Look whats hes now built in Edmonton. We keep bringing in the wrong guy and doing the same thing over again by bringing in old players as executives with no experience. The flyers will not win a cup with Briere at the helm

I believe briere will bring us to the promise land of lord stanley. Looking at danny and how he talks about the city during playoffs and the fans and shit. Things are starting to look up for the flyers and I only hope that we start off to a nice hot start and keep the burner on. Our past of going out west for a trip has not been the best of recent history. I hope that changes comes this year and I hope for great things
