Thus pattern is fun and beautiful. I love the stackable pumpkins!! Have you thought of using this pattern with the stackable sizes to create a Christmas Snowman? It would be so cute!
Your original pumpkin pattern was my very first crochet craft project. Before that I had only made blankets. I moved on to your Christmas trees, baskets and Christmas ornaments. i look forward to trying out your updated pumpkins. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials.
I have used a similar pattern, instead of using HDC, you use a Half Double slip stitch and it doesn't make a gap. You weave through that stitch down on the inside of the pumpkin to cinch it in to get that same effect. It's very similar to this one, but uses the SL ST and HDSS instead.
I looked through the comments to see if anyone had the same thing happen to them… doesn’t appear so, but I’ll try to give a shout out for solutions 🤷♀️ I used the hook size mentioned and I even had the tweed wool ease on hand. Seemed to be the same label info as the video. I would probably consider myself a “loose stitch” crocheter so I am super confused as to why in the end, after stuffing, I had basically a tube. No pumpkin shape whatsoever. Not stretchy like the video. Very tight. I seemed to understand the process of the stitches, but definitely took way more yarn than this since I think the video said a smaller one had been made already. I had to stop rows early because I was out of a new skein. I don’t know… maybe it’s too vague of a problem, but if there’s any tips someone had, I’d be grateful for sure. Thanks if anyone can help 🙏🤗
It will be a tube shape. You close the bottom first and pull the extra yarn up to the top. Then you stuff it. After that you close the top and you wrap the yarn around going straight through the inside and out the bottom kind of tight and do the same directly across and do it again directly across. So you end up with 4 pieces of yarn that shape the pumpkin and then arrange the stuffing with your hands until it looks good. I hope that makes sense.
I get so many compliments on my intro music and I always direct them to you! Thanks for sharing your talents and allowing creators to use your music. ❤️
Love love love your pumpkins ....I bought them all, do you have a video or can you make one on how to attach the pumpkin stacks ? Or do you just leave unattached?
I used the proper hook size, yarn brand, gauge swatch was perfect, and yet I still didn't have enough yarn in one skein to make a large size pumpkin. I did go back and compare, and it looks like the lion brand wool ease does not have as much yarn in each skein as on the tutorial & pattern. I wonder if it changed since the pattern came out or since I'm in the US, the size of this skein is different here? Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks for the input.

@@mjsoffthehook oh boy lol! After looking thru Etsy purchases I couldn't find it so I checked ravelry. I actually did purchase it there haha! I got the update! I don't really go on ravelry too much anymore and I've been buying your patterns from Etsy lately. However, knowing now that we get updates automatically on ravelry, I think I'll go back to buying from there. Thanks for the heads up! Love your patterns so much!! Currently in the middle of the calming stripes blanket too ☺️❤️
Love the extra step of weaving through the stitches to close gaps. Great tutorial, thank you!

I couldn’t find the xxl pumpkin and I was looking for the pumpkin pillow. I think I musta missed something

Do I know you from somewhere???
This pattern would also make an awesome hat and cowl. The texture on the other side is nice too for something reversible.
Thanks I’ll be making some this weekend 🎃
They are so cute!
Where can I get your crochet hook at.?

When using worsted weight yarn, do you still use the same yarn hook size 8,thank you
So fun! Great pattern! 🍁🍂✨
About how long is your "long tail" used to close the top and do the ribs? Thanks! Love this pattern!
What size hook to get the 14 inch width? I used (9mm hook, its seems shorter.
Me encantan !! 😱❣️
You lost me at the push down the hook on the third loop. I can’t figure it out 😢
I don't see the FREE pattern, only the $5 one, but it says there is a free one? Where do I find that?

How do you crochet the stem instead of using cinnamon sticks?
I have no idea how to knit
Sorry I meant crochet. One of your posts shows the stem made of yarn

That's great! That's the only downside to Etsy. Ravelry makes it so easy ❤️

Why can’t you just crochet in the back loop to make a cable stitch? That’s how I’ve done it in the past…..
That’s what I was thinking!
It’s what I did and I think it looks fine
The pattern is different with different stitches
