Kandye , thank you for your generosity in sharing your talents and experience in creating. I have made the fresh and really never gave thought about waste - also I keep in the freezer . This is so much better . Thank you. And a very festive arrangement.
Fabulous idea! Down here in NC our Chinese Holly is looking amazing & full of red berries. Perfect time to do this! Goin' to the craft aisle tomorrow! Blessings Kandye! Blessings to Dale, as well!
I usually add two or three new orange pomanders every year as the old ones will dry up too much and break. I cover the entire orange leaving some room for shrinkage. It is a juicer mess but that also helps the spice mixture I roll them in stick afterwards. The smell is heavenly. I do like the idea of the faux fruit. I guess I don’t mind using two or three fresh fruits because they do last several years store them in a ziplock bag with the spice mixture. I am looking so forward to getting the silver ice cycles. I have one which I received at Sauder Village and have always wanted more. Have a great week and weekend!
Love this idea..have made these before, only difference was I added a piece of twine under the star anise to hang from the Christmas tree. But, the gel stain to age the fruit, just to cleaver, Kandye... thanks again and take care from Arizona 🌵
That is so cute and pretty. Thank you Kandye ❤❤

Wow, they look great! I am a new subscriber
Thanks for subbing!
An ice pick might work in place of a awl
It sure could, or a nail or big needle!
