I love KBShimmer, the formulas are always good and the price point is reasonable, plus I appreciate her not doing the perceived scarcity fomo like some bigger brands seem to be fond of doing (I do understand small brands releasing LEs, that’s not my issue). But I am really tired of holo flakes, especially in a warm-toned base and/or warm-toned shimmer. They dull the effect and just look grey in most lighting.
I definitely know what you mean about the holo flakes! I'm all about a holo flake personally, and want them in everything haha but there are times where it doesn't do much for the final look
This brand's descriptions are truly a mouthful. One of my very favorite Indie brands and so reasonably priced!! I use their basecoat, topcoat, and strengthener exclusively now.
Haha I know, I want to start just describing what I see, but I figure if a brand provides the descriptions, they want it used! I am in love with KB Shimmer everything though!
I love kbshimmer and your reviews as per usual. I bought previous reflective polishes but it’s so chunky after multiple uses. Do you have an idea on how to properly thin it? Regular thinner seems to separate it a bit as the reflective flecks are super heavy. Appreciate any advice!
I've only thinned out one reflective glitter polish, and it happened to be with the KB Shimmer thinner (wasn't a KB Shimmer polish though), and I haven't had issues yet with the separation. I didn't add a TON though, so maybe that's the difference? Maybe you could add some nail polish base to it instead since it's thicker?
I love KBS and this is a beautiful fall collection! Except for the reflective glitter...... No to the reflective glitter!!!! ❤😁
I love the bold shimmers, but something about the reflective glitters were really getting me this time haha
I cannot choose a favorite they’re all so beautiful
You look FABULOUS!! Beautiful swatches as usual!!❤🎉
Ahh thank you! I was sick as heck with Covid haha but definitely wanted to get some intros done!

Ha ha I agree about the holo flakies. 🥹

She does some amazing work with nail polishes!
Love the orange. Thanks for giving tips on removal.

I don’t care how beautiful they are; I’m not touching reflective glitter!
You could try a peely base.
