I used to love watching this as a kid wondering what it’d be like to go Black Friday shopping so early. Now I’m a grown adult and about to do it. I guess I decided to bring it full circles haha!
@racegrooves Thanks for looking out for me and MissToyCollector. I'm sure you guys out there in Cali' have much cleaner trains than we do. New York City is so gritty'. I think I'll write a song with those lyrics. You've inspired me mr. grooves'. ; )
@unmarkedtrails My daughter seems to not mind the attention she has received from being on the show. My son on the otherhand, doesn't revel in it very much.
@giggleblaggle The Mattel Toy Store often has sales so if you go often, you can wait until you get a good price. I only buy stuff that I can use for the business. I'm not that close to any of the Toy Stores, probably 25 minutes from two of them so I don't go that often, maybe every 3 or 4 months. As for my audio, this one is 100% dubbed in. I want a quality product and that's the best way to present these types of videos. If I am at my table with the checkerboard fabric, those are done live.
@TheGtabuzz02 I'm glad that you are enjoying the videos! I strive to make them entertaining and informational. I highly recommend that you buy what you like. It doesn't matter what other people like or what is popular. Buy what you like and YOU will be happy!
@123456hotwheels Stores rarely put out new diecast for Black Friday. They want people to buy the more expensive stuff because they make more profit. December tends to be lean as far as stocking the pegs goes.
@DaddyIvo The trains are clean right now because they aren't even a year old. The Gold Line extension was just finished this year. Give them time. They don't go through the best neighborhoods... I look forward to some of your lyrical and musical talents!
@thehogan911 Yes to NEW and SNES but I never bought the Vectrex or Dreamcast. Right now he has Game Cube, Game Boy Advanced, Nintendo DS, and PS2 Playstation PSP.
@164collector Nope, no Treasure Hunts. And if you seen something on the dash of my Chevy Avalanche, it was a Thomas Brothers Map book. We do have the front license plate on the dash of our Nissan Sentra because the bracket broke on the front bumper.
@formulaonehotwheel The price is often the same as retail but they often have coupons for 'buy one item at 50% off ' sales if you're on the email list. You could check out the City of Industry location. 605 north, 60 west, Hacienda exit north, right on Valley, 15930 East Valley Blvd, City of Industry, CA 91744. I hadn't heard about Lolita's but I just looked up the address and I will have to check them out! My wife will be making them in a few weeks - Yummy!
@peppergames It gets that cold up in the mountains but rarely does it get that cold here in Los Angeles. That's why everybody move to California - for the weather!
wish we got deals like this in the UK, last year (2013), there was a few shops doing Black Friday stuff, but as we don't do thanks giving it don't make much sense, anyhoo show how bad it is in the UK, I was looking in Toy R Us the other day, and they had the Pixar Cars in the special Christmas colours from Xmas '13, and they were full price still, and that's in the middle of March!
hey racegrooves i got a huge question 4 u ....what do u look for in a hot wheel cause im new nice videos i think ive spent like 4 hours on the lol thanks please respond
@IMMUNEORNOT I work for the U. S. Postal Service during the week and I do birthday parties for kids on the weekend. Search my videos for 'My Real Job' or USPS
Nice Black Friday Haul Run-Around-Town video dude! Who was that @ 3:26? Looks like she did her shopping already. ; ) I like how you give narration throughout the vid'. Thanks for showing me the "train-system". Once again, nice vidya' racegrooves.
Nice haul there! Would you say that the pricing at the Mattel store in Pomona is better than the retail stores and if so, how much better? Hey, you should have stopped at Lolita's on Whittier Blvd for some of the best tamales in the world, but hey taquitos are great at any hour of the day or night.
@mernstgeek Sorry dude, if I would have known then I would have got you something. The part that I didn't mention is that the Taquitos got all mixed together so they didn't know which one was which flavor. I get the two for $2.22 if I'm there but I told them that I don't like the Jalepeno ones. Since they didn't know which was which, and I'm sure they were close to tossing them anyway, he gave me the last five for $2.22! What a deal! Even better is that none of them were the Jalapeno ones!
@smutoys 34 degrees is cold! I'm a night person so doing BF is no problem for me. If I need help getting items, my wife will join me before the store opens. I didn't slo-mo that part because I didn't want to be THAT obvious :) As for Mattel's Toy Store, that location might be the closest one to you. It is in Pomona. That might be a 90 minute drive for you but what the heck. :)
@unmarkedtrails My son is at that age where he loves to ridicule me. Then I keep teasing him and letting him know that he will be losing his hair soon after age 30 as well! He also thinks I'm nuts with these videos. Then I remind him that I am a world-wide superstar (sarcasm, of course). I doubt that he will see the video but I did have to change the thumbnail just in case. Besides, he has been bugging us for a PSP so it won't be that much of a surprise anyway.
@stangcrazy89 There's a chance that my son will see the video but it isn't going to be that much of a surpise. He keeps getting the advertisements and leaving me the PSP pages face up. Target had a great deal, $129 with two games. But the two games weren't ones that he would play. This version was $199. It comes with the game that he's going to play constantly and the actual system has a special case. Radio Shack had one for $129 too, plus $40 for his game. The $30 extra is worth it for him.
@racegrooves And a NES or a SNES I never knew you had a mind for that stuff what else had you I enjoy Vectrex and gensis and dreamcast but if i ever (but i never played those accept vectrex NES and SNES and trying to get a dreamcast)
@racegrooves canceled the dreammcast because i got one in the store i got ryu ninga gaiden primal rage mortal combat swift 1 2 3 and all the wirers plus your son has good taste i could drop off a gamecube game if i post to you don't even have a gamecube how does he like pokemon i love it
@racegrooves I have really rare poke mon games and rare yu gi oh card i have been collecting for about 7 years i like to think of myself as a profesinal over 30,000 cards
I used to watch this when I was younger

I agree with you 100% on the Mattel store I visit the one by me often for trick tracks and other sets.

Hey! 45 Degrees in the UK is unthinkable, even in the summer. In the summer we are lucky to get around 33 degrees, if we're lucky :)
@DaddyIvo Yeah, that train part was just for you! The references to the cold weather were for you and MissToyCollector.
@texasmichael7 That's great that you have a Mattel Store by you! I hope to make a cool Trick Track set-up in December.
Cars is my favorite thing of Disney at Target and like Team Fortress 2
@burnleyboy32 Thanks for the kind words about my videos! Congrats on getting the cars that you have in your collection!
I remember have that 9 pack on Christmas
Yes, that is the Mattel Toy Store in Pomona. I live in East Los Angeles.
@DaddyIvo The trains are clean right now because they aren't even a year old. The Gold Line extension was just finished this year. Give them time. They don't go through the best neighborhoods... I look forward to some of your lyrical and musical talents!

The old days
wish we got deals like this in the UK, last year (2013), there was a few shops doing Black Friday stuff, but as we don't do thanks giving it don't make much sense, anyhoo show how bad it is in the UK, I was looking in Toy R Us the other day, and they had the Pixar Cars in the special Christmas colours from Xmas '13, and they were full price still, and that's in the middle of March!
Unfortunately, the last few years didn't have anything really special.
@thehogan911 He still likes Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and those types of games and cartoons.
@Piplup41541 That's COLD! It is still chilly here and that's why my nose is all stuffed up through the narrative of the video.
i thought i would wake up at 5:00 in the morning so i dont be late for school
@stangcrazy89 Dang! I just noticed that the thumbnail image is the PSP box! I gotta change that for sure!
hey racegrooves i got a huge question 4 u ....what do u look for in a hot wheel cause im new nice videos i think ive spent like 4 hours on the lol thanks please respond
