You know what I want to do? I actually want to journal all the Momentum devotionals. Yes, all of them. I’m wandering if that’s something I can accomplish? Anyway thanks for the inspiration Tracy!!
I prefer these shorter videos rather then the 1:30 to over 2:00 videos. I won’t even look at those. I know some people do, and I think it’s fantastic. I just prefer the shorter ones for myself. By the way, I have this same Bible. My daughter got it for me on Amazon. Not a fan of Amazon, but I like the Bible. Blessings to you.
Good question! The notes are in the worksheets that each person does in the program. It's quite a lot and many of the notes are personal so we typically don't share that.
Do you actually read through the Bible and study the Word? Although the artwork is pretty, it seems very distracting, and in a lot of cases, difficult to see the words. Wondering 🤔 as I see "journaling" as WRITING thoughts, ideas and prayers and whatever God's speaking to my heart.
Yes :) I've read the entire Bible 3 times in different translations in the last 6 years and I read the New Testament every year. I didn't do this before Bible journaling. It has helped me tremendously.
This IS a form of journaling, done in the same manner, just WITH art. It doesn’t have to be JUST writing and IS done by whatever you’re called to do. If the images are more distracting to you, maybe this isn’t your thing and that’s perfectly ok. Not wrong, just different. Many times when people do art like this, it’s more of a meditation for them and helps stick better in their heads. So where you may see ‘just art’ as the end process, doesn’t mean that it wasn’t something more to the artist making it. That part cannot be seen or completely understood in its entirety. But that’s what art is anyways. It never really much about the end product, but the process that has the bigger impact for the artist. The only time when it’s about the end product result, is really when it’s for someone else, like a commission or a gift, etc. where it’s not so much about the feelings behind it all, but its purpose IS the end result and many times, much less meaningful and cannot truly be understood by others anyways on that same emotional level in its fullest potential as what the artist is trying to convey.
This is art journaling, used specifically to spend time in and process the word of the Lord. I study and annotate in a separate bible from my art journal Bible. We all use our creativity in different ways

I’m back!…which Bible is this that you use?
That's pretty and all, but where are the notes? The "meat" of in-depth Bible study?

I art journal in my journaling bibles, and I study and read in a separate Bible.
But, why you don’t keep the same one? It’s just reading, why you need so many?
If you watched the video, you’d know the bibles get filled up with art journaling. She has different bibles to read and study from
