I’ve listened to several GB videos. And they are counting on the Lions having a hard schedule. If you’re going to be the best you have to play the best.
@@thomaswatkins3686 do you have deep Effections for me? Or do you just throw your shit at the wall to see what sticks? You’re mommies basement must be stinking by now.
Having the Lions below the Packers and especially the Bears is beyond ludicrous! Nick is a clown. He has to be assuming Goff is breaking his leg week one!?! 🤷♂️
The Lions disrespect is crazy. The way the bolstered their secondary through the off-season and the draft was impressive. They struck big deals with core players as well. Bengals little too high and Bears too high. I agree with you about the Lions and Eagles.
I’m a 49ers fan and I have the Lions going to the Super Bowl this year. They’re a young team that’s only going to improve, they got valuable playoff experience last year, and I like the addition of DJ Reader to help their run defense. That also seems like an addition specifically to help against the 49ers as their interior o line is pretty weak which was exposed by Chris Jones in the Super Bowl. A lot of teams saw that and added interior defensive linemen including every other team in the 49ers division.
I think SBOB definition is when recent track record meets high expectations. And when those expectations are not met the “bust” part comes in the form of some sort of team tear down or rebuild or competition will surpass you thus closing the window on a teams opportunity.
Good video. Lions fan here... according to vegas we have 4th best odds to win it all... and we have been bad for so long its never super bowl or bust but obvious expectations from last year. I would say we are in those SBOB tier but our fanbase would be happy with an appearence or even another conference championship
I am from Detroit and a lions fan I think this is childish when the season starts we will see what happens there are some teams that improved this off season.
@@JWLSportswell what I’m saying is there’s just too much talk I know it’s just football but everybody just out of nowhere is saying what team is going to be good and what team is not anything can happen in football.
I can't believe lions are 3rd in NFC North in this.... Bears are not best in the north competitive I believe they will be... I believe the NFC teams will bein order Lions or 49ers 1 and 2,3 Eagles,4 Falcons, wild cards will be two of Packers, Rams, Bears, or Cowboys
I just dont understand the whole Packers and Bears over the Lions? And unlike Nick, I'm not biased about my team (Lions). i said that we would reach the NFC Championship game and lose to the 49ers because of our defense and experience of our offense, but this year, there is no way that we take a step back, hell we gave away 2/3 games this year we'll be in the Superbowl for sure! We addressed our secondary and d line, and that will be the difference, we're set at o line, d line, linebackers, corners and safeties, good coordinaters, coach and our offense is deep but hey we'll see.
So he doesn’t think Goff is that good of a qb. And last year he thought the rams and cowboys were better than the lions. Long story short, he doesn’t like the lions. lol.
I don’t think these teams are necessarily in order as rankings. They are grouping them together as being in the same boat. Nobody would put the Bears, Greenbay, or the Texans above the Lions, Dolphins, or the Eagles. Same goes for the Browns and the Buccaneers. Putting them below the colts, titans, and Seahawks. Doesn’t seem like a ranking to me.
I just get annoyed with Nick's logic, I heard at least 5 times this offseason that "The Eagles didn't have a great offseason because I don't want to understate losing a HOF like Jason Kelce", but when it comes to the Rams he treats losing Aaron Donald of no consequence, which I think is insane. Bears have a lot of upside, but it certainly seems like he's anointing Caleb as the #2 QB in the league already and is setting a really unfair expectation for him, sort of like what's happened with Trevor Lawrence.
He was including Caleb in his QB tiers LAST YEAR! If Trevor is Nick's Prince then Caleb is his gay lover (no disrespect meant here but his love for Caleb runs deeper than man crush). If nothing else, Nick is devoted
Sorry, i think the lions WILL be happy if they just reached the SB... kinda. I mean they haven't been relevant in so long and haven't even won more than 1 playoff GAME in 50+ years, sir, until this past szn.

This completely STUPID take that Nick and many others have that the AFC is just "soooooo much better than NFC" is ludicrous. First of all, the last 2 years of this dumb narrative, when those teams went head to head, the NFC won most of those matches with the supposedly lesser QB winning those matchups, which meant they had better TEAMS. And 2nd, the propped up overrated QBs in the AFC aren't even that much better than the QBs in the NFC if they even are better. Top QBs in both conferences in RANDOM order off the top of my head (yes, I might miss a few): 1) Burrow 2) Mahomes 3) Allen 4) Rodgers 5) Herbert 6) Wilson 7) Stroud 8) Tua T. 1) Hurts 2) Brock 3) Dak 4) Stafford 5) Goff 6) Love 7) Daniels 8) Murray 9) Williams Only thing proven on those list of QBs is that the AFC QBs are just older and are overall more experienced.
