I relearned today I still can’t watch this conflict and not break down into tears multiple times... Pekora speaking as if Asriel would survive and get to be with everyone REALLY killed me though because I could already tell she would mentally noting that she thought he’d make it alongside everyone else before he said he’d inevitably disappear.
@@scurreith3667 If anything, the music also gets me. Caleb Hyle also sang lyrics to Asriel's song made from the music that made it even more heartwrenching. There are plenty of other fan songs that make the music from this game several times better and more emotional. Really emphasizes the core part of Undertale.

IIRC the original English script basically says that. I'm actually a bit curious what the original script for this fight is because I translated the translation as she read it, so I want to see how far off we got.
You can really tell how Pekochan held it in by the couple times her voice cracked, truly wholesome. Always loved seeing this soft side she has, which according to her friends in hololive, that's how she usually is offstream.
I really love how Pekora comforted Asriel way before the fight led it that way, like she really wanted him to chill out and be happy, she really was the anime protag for a moment there
"Are you really all alone? Have you looked around you? If you look closely there should be many people around you aren't there?" Damn... that line alone is incredibly helpful to people like me who struggle with those thoughts sometimes.
This game made her show her true self, like how kind and actually great person she is despite her awkwardness, just like other hologirls has said before. I also liked how Marine too showed such a soft side of her without showing her usual lewdness.
I always loved the pacifist ending but it also made me sad we couldn't do more for Asriel. That's why I really enjoy the fanmade Dreemurr Reborn timeline when Frisk gives Asriel his soul and they grow up sharing a body. Also, whenever Pekora screamed "MAMAA!!!" I thought it would've been funny if her Mom actually opened the door to answer her.

Also off topic but if you don't mind me asking, I've planned as a goal to try and start learning Japanese this year but I don't really know where to start... What confuses me the most is that I know there are many forms of Japanese like Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, etc. But I do not know which of them is the most spoken/most written so I do not know if I should learn them all or just 1 of them? Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated, I've heard from other sources that learning N1-N5 is what I should study if I want to learn Japanese but, I just want to make sure this is right before I invest a big time sink into the wrong thing on accident! Thank you so much if you can help!
I'm a fluent Japanese speaker but I read/write it at a grade school level. Learning hiragana/katakana is the bare minimum you would need to start. The writing system incorporates all three in nearly any sentence you can form, so learning only one would be useless. Even native speakers struggle with kanji, so it's hard to say how many you'd need to learn because it depends on what you want to do. You could spend a lifetime working on kanji. To be honest, in the age of google I personally feel zero need to work on my kanji. I can read manga just fine because furigana is a thing that exists lol.

Borrowed from China originally, some have changed and others haven't. Usually have 2 different pronunciations, one "old" and one "new" (onyomi and kunyomi). Which one to use depends on context. Kanji can share pronunciations. Those 3 facets form a big part of Japanese wordplay. Writing in all hiragana and no kanji gives it a kids vibe, whether written by a kid or written for kids. And gives a strange spin on the ol' "Chara the narrator" theory. But to understand it properly I should look at Japanese variants of some phrases in the game. Like the "Laugh" and "Heckle" options in the Snowdrake Mother fight.
To be entirely fair, Japanese doesn’t really use third or first person pronouns for the most part, save for clarification. “忘れちゃった”, “ended up forgetting”, despite being just a single verb, is grammatically correct. Context indicates who’s speaking and who’s being spoken about.
It's still second person. You don't get pronouns. Google Translate just assumes first person by default. 12:15 is the only line that's properly translated into the right perspective.

When you run something in Japanese through Google Translate, it assumes first person if there aren't any pronouns given, which isn't always right because Japanese often omits the subject if it's understandable via context. Most other big clippers actually understand this.

Cuz in the game files undyne atk is 7 and def is 0
And papyrus atk is 8 and def is 2
He's suprisingly strong, and also has incredible control over his power.
You physically can't die against him, he'll always stop at the last moment.
I think that’s the key. Undyne never rejected him to join the guards because he was weak or anything but because he lacked the will to do any harm.
