Who knows if it will. The Al Gore Rhythm seemed to like the FF7 iceberg video for some reason but the view count in this guy's videos are usually not even in the thousands.
Dude, I’m so glad I found this channel through the FFVII iceberg video; probably some of the best editing and presentation I’ve seen in a while. Keep up the good work, guy.
Fellas, this man puts far too much effort into editing these videos for how small this channel is. And he’s funny and based as hell, classic cultured nostalgic humor. Salute, my friend
The Sega Saturn is a libary I need to dive more into, I've one for the longest time just never got around to it. I love Sonic it's my favourite series but I'd be lying if I said that Sega aren't limiting themselves. Like you said their game design is often risky and while that doesn't always workout they've also given just so many totally orginal experiences, Nights, Jet Set, Skies of Arcadia, Burning Rangers, Sakura Wars hell even Yakuza, these games are one of a kind. Great video bud!
i grew up with a sega saturn. sonic 3d blast, astal, mr bones, mansion of hidden souls, machine head, nights, daytona, virtua cop 2, virtua fighter...god so many classics!! LOVE this video my man
Gosh, I love the Sega Saturn so much. Nice to see more videos out there that show it the appreciation it deserves! Side note: it might've been inevitable, but I still gotta thank you for bringing up NiGHTS; that game is super special to me.
I'm so glad that you recommended and talked about NiGHTS into dreams in this video. It's my favorite game of all time, and I'm glad that it's being talked about. Also the editing of this video is absolutely beautiful. Good job! Looking forward to more videos!
On a deep dive on this dude's videos cuz I just saw his new vid on the 64 and man, you got such a sweet style. Ive been looking for the inspo to actually start making vids and this might be it, I gotta thank you. keep this shit up
Why is this man not more popular. I got this in my recommendations like it was someone I'm subscribed to. Anyways, just trying to say your content is great! Keep it up!
18:36 Those spine cards aren't to decorate the game case on YOUR shelf, they're meant to go under the original shrink wrap it ships in when it sits on store shelves - if it's under that shrink wrap, it doesn't fall off, of course. Some books and music CDs I've imported from Japan had something similar. I assume it's so that the selling points of the product are visible even if it has to be stacked so that only the spine is visible to a customer browsing the shelves.
I remember putting weed in my chicago town pizza, I forgot i put some in after adding cheese so I added another layer of weed and cheese. Anyway I ate it whilst listening to the waves from the ps2 menu you mentioned, I closed my eyes and opened them but 10 hours had passed and the oven was still on.
To be honest, I think Papa Franku would totally dig this channel. The digital journalism and research done by fish is really high quality...baffles me how this isn't getting like 100k views.
@@afishsparadise5150 bro looking at the love you are getting here it's a matter of time, i've been sharing your vids but i'm as popular as a salad in Texas so im not the best at getting traction. But you have fans for sure!
i found you because of the ff7 iceberg and honestly I'm not really into videogames but I like that you are genuinely passionate about what you talk about. I also like your sense of humor. I'll stick around.
Fuck I love your content so much. Crazy nostalgia for all these games, Saturn gaaaaang. One super cool thing about Sonic Jam is that those aren't emulated Genesis ROMs, they're full on re-coded versions built for the Saturn, and are arguably the best official console releases of the OG Sonic trilogy. Also Burning Rangers is hype as hell and I will always cling to the idea that it inspired Platinum's Astral Chain even if it comes out that they’ve actually never heard of it and it's just a massive coincidence.
yoo I should've mentioned that about Sonic Jam. They even added multiple difficulties and stuff it's a really nice touch. Also my homie told me Astral Chain is hype asf so I will probably be playing that soon bc I love me some Platinum games. Thanks for the support my guy 🙏
I love your channel man your editing Is great and your aesthetic reminds me of a more energetic visually appealing version of Thorinhighheels. You are criminally underrated man I hope you get more subs :)
Ah, a fellow traveler of the emulation/preservation universe. I love how it makes a guy like me who sucks at coding... feel like a haxor. I went from Atari to Nintendo to Playstation over the decades. Sega was always foreign to me, so it's been very cool to see videos like this. Looking back Sega didn't fail due to a lack of effort or quality. The different generations of hardware looked great. The Dreamcast also seems underrated from what I've looked at. Your video may be the first time I've seen the Saturn even talked about, which is odd because I've been on a console nostalgia kick for two months now. I appreciate that and the uncommon game selections you covered. We really do share a unique relationship with Japan don't we? I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about all these titles I didn't even know existed, and it's kind of amazing to see gaming culture through the eyes of an entirely different culture. I would say learn to speak some Japanese... it's quite fun when it isn't putting my brain into the fetal position. Yeah, it's tough to say the least. Thanks for the quality vidz and I hope all is going well with you and yours.
Sega Saturn is the only console that has a design telling you it's cool, how can you argue against that? If you're willing to throw down the cash you could get a Saturn ODE like the Fenrir or Satiator. I got a Satiator myself and it's great, I'm going through Sakura Wars right now. Also, someone is working on putting the 3DS translation of Soul Hackers into the Saturn version, so fingers crossed westerners will be able to play it and maybe even the original Devil Summoner someday. EDIT: ALSO Also totally check out the Saturn SHIRO boys, especially Pandamonium. He's reviewing every US Saturn game and has been killing it so far.
bro thats actually so dope could you link your source for that? also im 90% sure the original devil summoner is getting a translation but I would have to check
This was cool. But show Dragon Force some love! It is my favorite Saturn game, and still the best SRPG ever made. (But thanks for showing Sakura some love.)
I totally agree bro that game seems so interesting. I feel like a lot of the appeal of it has gotta be that crisp voice acting tho, which is harder to appreciate when you don't understand the language. would still love to give it a try.

Stanpai brought me here. Absolutely love the editing and overall style of the video. Gives me Cinematech vibes.
