@@JoeTalksCars also earlier years being more prone, they greatly improved each engine over time. The base model engines are bullet proof. The S 3.4’s need to be heavily lubricated aka, driven to the limit often. They’re a car you do not warm up. Cold starts; start and drive, do not let the engine idle to “warm up”. That’s straight from the owners manual lol
Cup2s for colder moisty weather... I'd be very careful with that , other than that great car and the build . Engine work shuts me down again from owning one as these are so affordable nowadays ...

Even if track builds dont do the best lap times, it certainly looks more fun, engaging and mechanical than an actual GT4, and from everything ive seen online this has got to be the most underrated car ever, how would you compare it to other sportscars?
It’s an excellent car especially with the choice upgrades. It definitely benefits from the LSD which is a lacking point in the factory car but with the right parts it’s a lot of car for the money. I’m sure the GT4 is more car but it’s also a chunk more money

Am busy with trying to import a Cayman s sport from Germany btw with a 997 engine swap bored to a 4.1 completely track ready but laws here are so tricked they might not accept the modifications here even tho they are on paper, great country Belgium is, than I am not even talking about the taxes, first tax 5000euro than after 3200euro yearly but thats a sacrifice I am willing to make. Sick beast you have there, love the color, wheels, stance and even the winf suits it because I usualy don't like them big ass ironboard looking mofo's :D

Yeah it's a serieus car that cayman, 410hp 480nm for 1370kg is nuts, got forged high compression pistons, schriek cams, a lot of 997 gt3 parts like the injectors, inlet, cilinder heads, gt3 rs bucket seats, gt3 rs gasvalve, and so on and so on, bilstein pss9, this car is insane so I hope so bad they will pass it, we are working on it with my importer and the owner of the car, asking for pics of the coc papers and all mods so we can go to mot here in Belgium and ask if it's possible to registrate this here, if so holy moly I finaly got my tracktool. I've been going to the nurburgring with my rs3 and altho it's build for it it's just too heavy with 1625kg (maybe a little less because of the mods) but it's still too heavy to do such things with it. Running 8.40 there but with regular ps4 s tyres no semi slicks or anything. Want to go mid sevens there and with that cayman it should be possible but I doubt they will let it pass.

These are ATS GTR. Unfortunately they aren’t in production now and aren’t cheap either
