Hi guys! Thank you so much for being here 🥰
Today I'm working on a 10 x 20'' canvas.
Pillow/Base:
British Paints low sheen house paint in White, nothing added.
Colours:
#TLP Macaw
TLP Athena
TLP Pinwheel
TLP Nightfall
TLP pigments, swiping tools, silicone stir sticks and silicone pour mats plus many other items can be purchased from fluid-art.co/
Jo Sonja Aqua
Matisse Southern Ocean Blue
All colours and pigments are mixed with untinted house paint and Jo Sonja varnish.
Please see video #92 for how I mix my colours (both pigments and tubes).
• (92) How I Mix My Pain...
CA (Cell Activators):
Atelier Rich Gold
Atelier Titanium White with a small blob of Atelier Pale Gold
Atelier Paynes Grey
All were mixed with Australian Floetrol. I never measure ratios, I mix until it leaves a slight trace when drizzled from around an inch above the surface.
My style has changed and evolved dramatically since I took the Sheleeart E-Course and I can't recommend it enough!

Please try and watch the entire video, I try and always keep my videos under 20 minutes. I have a tip jar, it's definitely not expected, but if you'd like to tip any small amount would be greatly appreciated and will go towards buying more paint supplies. Thanks in advance it's: paypal.me/Nikidfluidart
My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too.
My metal spatulas are artist pallet knives, they can be purchased from fluid-art.co/ or independent art stores.

Almost otherworldly. Incredibly beautiful. It gave me a sense of Mary holding newborn Jesus in the Manger. Lowly yet majestic. Totally blew me away.
Thank you very much Peggy😀💜
For a long time it looked like the head of the Virgin Mary with Aladdin’s mystical body. I like where you landed with it. 💙💚🧡💕❤️🔥
Thank you so much Elise 😀💜
excellent in everyday...color application an use of tools an then perfect balance on your negative space
Thank you very much 😊 💜
I think your paintings are the most beautiful there are. I can't manage to do anything like yours.
Thank you so very much Karen! 😀💙
Oh my goodness, the sparkle and shine is amazing. Those cells!
Thank you very much Emily 😀💜
Oh Niki!! You swirl like no other! I find when I swirl then spin they end up all wonky. The composition was so pretty so many times throughout,. Even before you tilted. Or spun! And the blooper was the best!! Lol 🤣🤣🤣 I live the reveal! Thanks so much friend!!
Thank you so much Michelle 😀 💜 Yes I liked it best in the centre before I had to tilt.
Great dips hey? 🤣
Thanks for the interesting video! It's been a wonderful job! But it would not have been so complete without your skillful hands and natural flair! Bravo!
Thank you Vera! 😀 💜
Just look at those colors coming through the blue!!
Thank you! 😀💙
Fantastic colours and design 😍 Love your sense of humour at the end! Thanks for the chuckle! 🙂🍀❣
Thank you very much 😊 💜
It's hard to find the right words, incredible comes close, such beautiful work!!
Wow, thank you! 😀💙
Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us. When I feel stressed and a panic attack coming on I watch your videos, it helps me.Not only are you a fantastic artist but a pretty good therapist also. LOL
Thank you very much Della 😀💙 Sorry to hear you're suffering panic attacks though 😢
These are magical colors and you are a magical artist!
Thank you so much Rebecca 😀 💜
Glad I'm not the only one!😶 the first one was beautiful, thank you.
Thank you Reed! 😀 💜 Oh no we all create 'blanks' too 🤣
I LOVE your work. I've tried with other paints . I have not mastered what you are doing. You and olg, Molly, rinske, Mina, are my all time favorites!!!
Thank you so much! I'm very honoured you've put me amongst those greats!!! 😀💙
Stunning painting as always lovely colors 👏👏👏
Thank you Domi 😀 💜
It’s always a pleasure watching you create beautiful art. 🎶💞🎶
Thank you so much Jan 😀💙
Niki, you are amazing. Every piece is a fabulous!
Thank you so much 😊💜
Lol!!! Tadaaaaa!! 👐 😂 I already knew were a magician but i didn’t expect that! 🤣 love both video’s equally 👌🏽🌺💜
Thank you very much 😀💙
As always...that is so amazingly beautiful!!!!
Thank you so much Tamra 😀💙
I ALSO SEE A BLUE BIRD IN THE MIDDLE TOO SO GORGEOUS
Thank you 😊 💜
ya, what Charlene said! lol! That last one was too funny! the suspense really got me!🤣🤣🤣
😂
The end result is gorgeous but I can't be the only one who dies a little inside when I watch these acrylic pour videos when I see the artist draining off some of the best cell formations and swirls... seems like every pour wastes off like half an amazing design.
Thank you 😊 💜 I agree I preferred it when centralised but there was too much paint on the surface and it would have cracked as it dried. I scrape up all the paint poured off to use for coloured bases, I think most people do the same.
Once the music cut and you started swiping.... woahhhh woahh sis lol activated my happy with that drop lol. My hearts kinda beating fast too 😯 amazing!!!
Thank you so much! 😀 💜
This is stunning. Really excellent job.
Thank you! 😀 💜
You’re so magical that’s so beautiful ❤️
Thank you Kitty! 😀 💜 Nothing could save those dips though 🤣
Niki, thanks for showing that last painting. The first was so amazing, as usual! But to know that someone as talented as you can have such an epic fail, somehow makes me not be as critical of myself when it doesn't turn out like I wanted. Thanks for that! I just love watching you paint!!
Thank you so much Charlene 😀 💜 Oh yes everyone gets failed pours
Agreed! I messed one up the other night (4am) and I literally about cried. I was holding back tears, mine was a failed blow out, there was paint allll over my stove and the wall 🤣🤣🤣 (I have no table so I use the stove, plus I have a light right above me so it works out) but omgooodness I made the biggest mess, and my painting looked like mud 😂
I'm laughing now, but until I seen this video I was pretty bummed. I'm broke already, so to waste all that paint made me sick but I had to scrape it. I just dumped it all together to keep for a Grey base paint.
Beautiful!😎. Thanks for sharing your work!
Thank you very much Kat 😀💙
🤣 that reveal was priceless - thanks for showing it. The first one is just spectacular though. I dream of creating such beauty. 🥰
Thank you! 😀 💜 Second was very colourful 😂
@@NikiDArt 🤣
Thank you so very much! 😀 💙
Sooooo lovely…..reminds me of carnival glass🥰
Thank you Deborah 😀 💜 I love the black carnival glass that looks like spilled oil! I have one piece
One of my favorite color palettes. I so enjoy your knife work. The out come is fantastic.

Thank you very much Kim 😀💜
Very monochromatic and one-dimensional 🤣🤣🤣
It was an absolute joy to watch you do this swipe. You're magic Girl, pure magic.
Thank you so much Keeley! 😀 💜
The swipe in so beautiful, love it , so funny about the dip
Thank you Susan! 😀 💜 Yes the disappearing paint 😂

❤️ beautiful Niki. Glad you shared the blooper at the end too. Made me smile. We all need a sense of humor doing this I think. ☺️🤗😆
Thank you very much Catherine 😀 💜 We definitely do as we all create rubbish too!
I loved it to bits, especially the ending. lol. 😁
Thank you Margaret! 😀💜
Oh..this is gorgeous ❤
Thank you! 😀 💜
The colours go so well together and make such a pretty painting. One wonders where the lovely colours went on the second painting the first painting made up for the fail . Thanks Niki for another great video.
Thank you so much Margaret for your continued support 😀💜
The paint sunk underneath my white base, I was experimenting using the bloom recipe but it was too thick.
ОMG it's so amazing 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕💖💖💖💖💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐Thank you so much
Thank you very much Aury 😀💜

Hi Niki, This is lovely. The colors are just georgeous. The richness of the blues, gold and the purple is stunning like the shimmer of dragonfly wings. I love starring at this painting. Thank you for sharing your art work.
Thank you very much Lucy 😀💜
This is beautiful. You are certainly a boss when it comes to colours, and modifiying - those swirls are perfect.
Thank you very much Lorraine 😊 💜
Painting is fab, the blooper at the end, Priceless! Lol. Been there and done that. The thing is whilst I was watching that, when you put the red on top of the dark turquoise, I was hit with an incredible nostalgic feeling! I am not sure what it is about but boy it was intense! It is going to be on my brain all night now. Thanks for sharing your wonderful art Nikki xxx
Thank you Cindy! 😀💜 Hope it won't keep you awake!

Thank you Hans 😊💜
Beautiful!
That second one is amazing! The colors are really popping!! 🤣
Thank you! 😀 💜
The second one came out quite pastel 🤣🤣🤣
WELL ITS ALL GONE NOW , OH WELL . STILL NICE THOUGH GOOD JOB NIKI D
Thank you yes I preferred it more centralised too, but was too much paint on the surface and it would have cracked 😊💜
Just lovely!
Thank you Michelle! 😀 💙
Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous! Love the colors. Reminds me of a genie coming from a lamp. Thank you for sharing the magic!❤
Thank you very much Sheila 😀 💜
Beautiful
Thank you! 😊💜
Ok I can have success with what I call smashing and some people call it dipping-what you did at the end. I do have that technique down. Thank heavens 🙂
I've done them before but never with the Sheleeart recipe, it all sunk 😂
Love this
Thank you! 😀 💜
Still find I am tipping my screen when you start tilting your picture. Thanks Niki another great work of art. Annie.
Thank you Annie 😁💜
Beautifully gorgeous!!🤩😍 Hope I can get to this level one day !!
Thank you very much Joyce 😀🖤
Wow. Beautiful. I am trying to do your bloom technique to no avail BUT I will keep trying 🤪🙁🙃. You make it look so easy. I just don’t have the technique down
Thank you Karen 😀 💜
I don't have the words. Thank you.
Thank you Susan! 😀 💙
This is so beautiful, love the colors!
Thank you Shirley 😀💜
oh my god, my eyes, my brain cant ingest this much beauty n magic in so Lil time. u are incredible, simply the best ,better than everyone on utube doing this!!! who was 1st ...milkyway or u hun??
Thank you so much Brenda! 😀💜 I started modifying with a skewer quite a while ago, way before I started my RUclips
now you'll need to make another like this but stop b4 all the spinning n tilting...coz it was more perfect fhen...
The first pour is fantastic! What wonderful, vibrant colors! 💖 Sorry bout the white wash out on the second one. Whoops.
Thank you very much Cathy 😀💜
Gorgeous Niki... I got one painting turned out just white this week too LOL 😂😂😂
Thank you so much Fiona! 😀 It's funny when you're imagining the prettiness as you lift so carefully! 😂
This, as usual, is amazing, but the oops at the end let me know that you do make mistakes and that I'm not the only one who makes them. Great video. Thanks for sharing this with the RUclips community. You really are awesome and this looks like a butterfly from the side. Quick question, how do you get all the sparkling in each of your paintings?
Thank you! Oh yes we all make bleugh pieces lol! 😀💙
This Little Piggy pigments are super shimmery!
This is incredible. For some strange reason, my Atilier Gold does not create reactions like you get. I do get them with Amsterdam paint but not Atilier. I am quite confused by this since it works as it does for you. Anyway, this is stunning. 💕 💕 💕
Thank you very much 😀💙 I prefer Atelier over Amsterdam tbh
Lovely colours just magical ! Can I ask if you resin after in a canvas or use a varnish gloss painted on ? Thank you
Thank you Joanne 😀💜 No I've never used resin, I don't have a safe area to do it so I'm not going to go shush that road. I love Rustoleum 2X already varnish in either satin or gloss. I also like Micador picture varnish (also a spray)
What tool are you using for fine details? Is that a brush?
Do you mean to do the modifications? It's a wooden skewer
Well the 1st one made up for both of them … it’s Stunning
But what do you think happened with the 2nd one?.. 😵💫
Thank you Tina 😊💜 I've done lots of dips in the past but this was an experiment using the bloom recipe which is thick. Due to its thickness it just sunk underneath the white base 😂
Does anyone know if Niki sells/ships her art to the US ? I am such a huge fan and would like to own one of her pieces ! Thanks for sharing your incredible talent with the world Niki ! ✌💖🌻🐝😷🎨🎶
Hi thank you so much! 😀 💜 Yes I'm shipping one on Monday to Oregon. You can contact me at nikidfluidart@gmail.com 🙂
That is beautiful. I do have a question about when you scrape away white paint after spinning. I have seen it done before and I wondered why.
Thank you Carol 😊💜 It splatters as you spin and I also like to see how it looks without all the surrounding paint
Magic wand 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂 It didn't work 😂
❤️😍🇩🇰
Thank you 😀💙
👍❤👏❤
Thank you! 😀💙
🥰🥰🥰😮🤣🤣🤣
Thank you! 😀 💙
Wonderful watching you work. Is there a site where your work is for sale? Thanks and blessings!
Thank you Stevi! 😀 💜 People usually contact me via my Facebook art page or via email nikidfluidart@gmail.com
@@NikiDArt Thank you for your reply. Don't do FB. Thanks for the email address. Is there anywhere to see what you have available? :)
I really like your paintings however I can't afford to buy that many TLPs. Is it possible to use other paints for this technique?
Thank you 😊 💜 Yes of course, if you look in the description box where I list my paints you'll see I don't use them in every piece. I have been using them lately a lot as they brought out some new colours. I don't own all the colours, nowhere near, I just save up and buy around four at a time in my favourite colours, or ones totally different to the tube acrylics I have. They last a very long time too, one pot can last up to 12 months! So they work out much cheaper than tubes in the long run 🙂
Is there a reason why you pop bubbles with a stick instead of a torch?
I do lightly torch too, if needed, but house paint can skin easily and there's varnish in the pm so have to be wary
The second video… 😂🤣😂
What you didn't like my colour choices? 🤣 🤣 🤣
Oh dear lol.
😂
You are so good but i get so frustrated. I wish I had an artists eye because I am in love with your piece then my favorite part is poured off the canvas. Still gorgeous just hate seeing all the lovely blue cells taken off.
Thank you 😀💙 I agree, I preferred it centralised but I had way too much paint on the surface and it would have cracked so had to lose some of it
