Loved the song and the imagery. Her fall at 1:05 and the spreading of her hair, is of such beautiful tragedy. Having all the coldness of black, white and blue in the intro, verses and outro and tell the story on these. The only colours of life are in their very faint skin and the painted lips and nails. But then, love the chorus with its change to red and the fluidity, connection and nearness of the girls. Soothing and warming between all this coldness. The references to Melancholia (the film, Lars von Trier) are clear, but the video is way fresher and even more stylized than in the film, imho. Great job! I'm looking very, very forward to your halloween cologne show!!
Great analysis of the video! Somebody at the Lovebites show in Dallas recommended this band to me, this video and song are sumptuously morbid. Kinda like a post-black Metal version of Lush. I was never a big fan of Lovecraft (great ideas..so-so writing) but I've learned more about his works since I've started listening to NM. (and also after discovering Ningen Isu's Color Out of Space). \m/

This is incredible and I wish I could hear it off of YT. The atmosphere that the visuals and the music create is so much more powerful than it would be without the other. IMO this is more powerful than I, Witchfinder, which is easily one of the most powerful and ominous songs ever recorded, because it has the benefit of visuals. Edit: Found the song on my streaming service! That's surprising given the lack of many more prominent Japanese artists. I'm working my way through Necronomidol's discography now. 🥰
