If you would like to use this method on text, first select the text object and go to Path -> Object to Path, then you're all set! When we turn a text object into a path now, Inkscape 1.3 automatically ungroups the text object for us and combines the letters together, which is a big time-saver!
Thanks so much for this tip. I was using inkscape for my work and now I notice that the program is running faster than previous versions, this is really help to make things more easier and effective. Keep your good work!!!
Happy to have found this channel. The content is communicated in such a clear, good and uncomplicated manner that even non-native Inkscape users feel very comfortable and understand it well. Many greetings from Germany. 🤗
I'm on InkScape 1.3.2 and I also couldn't get it to work. But I found a fix, instead of clicking "Add Corners LPE" you have to click one item to the left "Add curve handles" then it works as expected
this is bad video, i tried to select ''all nodes'' so i can equally make a round corner but it doesnt' select all the nodes.. it only allowes me to select one node per time. please explain it properly..
kinda nice but also kinda "shit" at the same time. I'd generally prefer to use the "global" corner effect. however it seems to be relative over "absolute" in terms of distances and sizes. using a non-uniform square shape for instance seems to yield distorted/squashed corners no matter what effect-algorhythm is chosen. is there any way to circumvent that problem? as it makes the feature almost useless or at least way more useless than it could have been. it's not that adding shape "corners" to regular squared shapes is exactly the most sophisticated feature or user requirement, right?

I've just purchased the Inkscape Combo Bundle. 💪🏻😍
Awesome, thanks! I have a couple new Inkscape classes coming out in a day or two, which will be added to the bundle 👍
@@SweaterCatDesigns I'm looking forward to it! 😊
Thanks for this great video...🤩🤩
Im unable to select multiple nodes when i drag the box over 2 corners?
You have to make sure to drag the box over the actual nodes, not the rounding handles. Always takes me a couple tries.
i HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.... DEFINITELY SELECTING THE NODES AND ROUNDING HANDLES AND EVERYTHING.
DOESN'T WORK THO
