An actually decent female guitarist! The most of the channels I've seen on RUclips are intermediate players with terrible tone and no taste for dynamics and note precision. This is bang on, this is one positive comments section that isnt just servicing the ego of a bad but attractive guitarist. Wow 9 years is a very long time. I've been playing guitar for almost 2 years now and picked up my electric in the second year, it's like i know what everything is but can't use them properly. How can i make more progress? Is there any sources to look up, i've pretty much only used tabs as a guide so far.
Pug ive been play 8 years and im also self taught. What ive found that works for progressing is challenging yourself to do things that uou arent ready for, messing up, and trying again. You'll fail 10 times before you succeed, just keep going along and don't give up
Pug, and when it really doesn't work out the way you want something to be, let it rest for a while (a few days/weeks), visualise it/ponder over it and the next time you try it might just click.
I'm personnaly guitarist and it's always a pleasure to see and ear you playing guitar. I wish we could met together one day and play until the end of times
