People really forget how much of Dota teeters at small points. Many, many players cannot play from the losing position, so their default is to become frustrated and blame others, instead of thinking of ways to fix what is broken. People won't modify builds despite being behind on gold, they won't look for picks despite people's high kill counts giving them big bounties, etc. One of the biggest game saving abilities you can have as a player is to get people like that to calm down and focus, instead of egging on their frustration. It's saved so many of my games to be a level headed mediator between potentially toxic or frustrated players being toxic. You have to back them off the cliff and get them to reconsider their gameplay.

I've done this plenty of time back in the days when they change nulifier to have magic damage boost. 6 nullifier and towers can melt but people realized after a couple of tries, it was unrank.
I think the only respectable Dota 2 content creators are Elwono for not smurfing and showing us cool strats, Henry for teaching us to better and not smurfing also, there are more but the main thing is: They dont Smurf=Dota Enjoyers.
