Ballyhoura MTB trails - 50k Castlepook loop / Part 5

Took a 6hr road trip down to Ballyhoura mountain bike trails near Limerick for a weekend of sweet singletrack fun and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I managed to cover 70k of the +100k of trails available over 2 days and this place really has a bit of everything.

the first time i went mtnbiking i did this exact loop, had no clue what i was getting into but it was epic. it was before the wind farm, but the long uphill was the same. The bike was a bmc sportelite 26er i believe. i rented it from the rental store. Thanks dude that was a trip down memory lane.

well shortly after this i bought my first bike, then a while later i built my first bike ,, soon that bike and i will return to where an obession began. the stange thing is i grew up about 40 minutes from the bike park but didnt go there untill i had emigrated to another country. life is a weird and strange journey.
