Or...... you could have saved £275. a month which still allows you some pleasures and save £3300. a year plus interest if you put it in a 5% account or invest it in a low risk fund.
As i went to Biarritz and Dubrovnik, I’d have chosen Montenegro. But all sound good. I’d be more likely to go back to Biarritz as Dubrovnik while beautiful, had to spend a fair bit of time avoiding the crowds during the day in the city
I’m not sure if they would be running the time of year you were looking to go, but if you go to Dubrovnik, avoid the old town at all costs any day that there is a cruise ship in. I went in June a few years ago and made that mistake. It gets absolutely manic there
HA HA HA do you know what's funny, I watched it back and went 'well that's not correct' so I googled it and 3 articles came up saying it was so... CAN I BLAME SOMEONE ELSE PLEASE? 😂😂😂
Hi Chelsea thanks for all the inspiration and top tips for budget travel.I should say "Affordable travel".I have been to Dubrovnik and it is gorgeous. The pearl of the Mediterranean.
All this works fine untill you try same trick with kids. Try this during school half terms and the price sky rockets. Parents are always severely punished by travel companies.

I APPsolutely think you should consider Southern France Chels 😉 Either Biarritz, Bordeaux or Nice would be a great little getaway
I’m watching this four months late but whenever you can… get to Budva! It was stunning and such a good base for the coast 10/10

Love all these tips! I am so envious of how cheap it is to fly in Europe.

If you haven’t been before, go to Dubrovnik. But it’s not the capital, it’s Zagreb

That’s true - but adding in the flexibility still does help you save money in exactly the same way!
And us who work in schools and have no choice ...
They’re not punished! It’s simply supply and demand!
