We Broz are glad that you are here. After gaining 4 years of experience as Tech RUclipsrs. We decided to collect data from different sources available around us and from the internet and finally decided to visualize it as it is more fun seeing visualizations. DATA NEVER DIES. Enjoy visualizations. Enjoy Data.
Which is you're favourite TV series?
Data Broz probably The Simpsons but I couldn’t see it on there. Is this only for live action TV shows or did no animated series get enough views to make the chart?
@@MONKEYJAW89 Highest number of viewers for Simpsons was during 2001 - 14 million. But Unfortunately it didn't get placed in this list

2018 Roseanne: ight imma head out

Just want to throw out that over the course of almost 20 years Lucille Ball consistently remained in the top ten: first of course with I Love Lucy, than the Lucy Show, and finally with Here's Lucy. That's amazing!
Amazing. Bonanza according Dagomir Marchesi was the worldwide most experienced media in the human history even surpassing the bible and the Beatles.
Curiously, Lost in Space (or any other Irwin Allen series) and Star Trek and Genie are all out of the basket of the 14 major hits.

Where's breaking bad?
Irk? I was looking for it too and didn't find it. It's not even on the list... not even in 2012-2013 when it was exploding
Breaking Bad final season's final episode has 10.28 million which is the highest for that series. But not able to get place on this list. Breaking bad has lower viewership may be because most of them watched it on streaming services
@@DataBroz It's also because AMC doesn't have as big of a audience. At least until the walking dead arrived.
@@raidenx147 Breaking Bad is one of the most popular non sitcom show ever after GOT. It is also one of the highest rated shows ever and has a HUGE fanbase and viewership... The Walking Dead dont even deserve to be near Breaking Bad's shadow imo
Hey! came here from daily dose of internet. I am very interested to know how long it took for your video to be featured on a daily dose of internet after you submitting it?
Actually that nice guy asked me on reddit
Data Broz got it! I submitted a video and I really want it to get featured! I’m quite nervous, it’s been like over two weeks. Not sure how long this stuff takes...
@@mxs4193 good luck and hope to see your video in his channel soon! Please notify me once it happens. I'm curious! 😊
Christina Jana Music thanks! you can see the video now on my second channel (generic woodworking). I can’t post a link right now so if you wanna see it look up: generic woodworking working wooden car model :)
The same thing with Netflix would be awesome

@@DataBroz Thanks for the fast answer. I really appreciate your work.
Its really nice to see Lucy be in the top from 52 through the 70s. Shes a legend!
It's interesting that 60minutes a non fictional crime show was popular for 2 decades.
Edit: it even managed to show up in the 2010s
Thank you for sharing, it's very interesting to see all the old tv series compared to newer...👍
The Moment That AVF made it on i just screamed i high as i could in joy
Daily dose of internet doesn't take only mainstream content. This video has only 1026 views, channel 460 subscribers and was posted yesterday! (20/05/20)
I expecting to see "How I met your mother" "the office" "breaking bad" and "prison break". Oh well
same
The Office was the most watched show of 2020.
Blame AMC. PB was never THAT big and no clue HIMYM didn't make it.
And the Sopranos.
Im surpised The Office did not make it
probably because most people watch it on netflix and things like that rather than TV
Probably wasn’t as big, when it originally aired on TV.. Its final episode only amassed about 5.69 million people.
If I’m not mistaken, The Office did get larger in popularity after its conclusion (from streaming platforms like Netflix).

Can’t believe two and a half men was ever top 10. I mean I loved that show but didn’t think most people did.

Data Broz I know I mean I hard to believe that It did
It did appear, the data in this video is quite wrong, I just watched the "real" on the Data is Beautiful channel

It's crazy how western themed shows were so popular in the 50s and 60s.
What language was used to construct this?
Never saw one single episode of Empty Nest. Just can't believe it postioned better than Little House on the Prairie 😢 May have to research Empty Nest. But blowing up Walnut Grove should have been the talk of the year!!
I've come to realize that when I was a child and watching shows intended for children, I was apparently heavily beaten in viewer numbers by shows that adults watched. The only show I saw for children was "Jessie" and not even spelled right. As an adult, I always thought children had a lot more time to watch TV than us!
Children do watch more TV overall. But this is not measuring how much TV people watch. Just what shows are the most viewed.
@@joeybaseball7352 good call! There must be a lot more variety of what children watch.

This was just wrong. Game of Thrones for some reason only appeared in 2018 when it was too years before.

Who's from Daily Dose of Internet?
AMERICAN IDOL: It is the show that remained the longest in the taste of the American public, being this; 9 years in a row at the top of the list, a full decade!!! Congratulations!!!
The Laughing Squid brought me here.
These black n white TV shows in the 1950s should have been very popular because todays generation just can't top them not even close! and I still watch them I don't watch anything todays they not watchable like these old TV shows
When 1998 started Tv started dying and it did!😔
This channel should have titled this video as most popular American television shows
I love how CBS slowly takes over
Well I thought Game Of Thrones wrecked every series at some point from 2013 or 2014? This video seems biased
It clearly is. There is no mention of Breaking Bad or the Office either
Oh yes Jesse was big in 1999
Music be like: Woah Wah woh Woah

where's the office...
There is apps that play retro shows. Cool to appreciate classics
American idol dominated the 2000s
Where is Twin Peaks? First season was quite popular and pilot was seen by 34.6m viewers.
When Jesse comes in it shows Jessie lmao
From 1956-1970 Red Skelton was on CBS. His 1951-1952 show aired on NBC.
I was reluctant to comment because I doubt you can do anything to can change the color but yeah, a couple of shows did change networks.
Wow the X-Files never popped the bubble!
This would be a little better if the channel colors were more different. It was hard to make out which was which.
I will take that into consideration

Survivor was popular back then but do you know how it’s doing nowadays? Because it doubles it’s prize this season to 2 million dollars, i was like, “wait did this show still making money?!!!”
Before the dotcom bubble: Who wants to be a millionaire. After the dotcom bubble: Survivor
Where is the sopranos, breaking bad, sons of anarchy, etc etc
Low viewership made it not appear here
Probably had 6-7 million, on average
Never heard of the show Jesse from 1998. Also, you used the wrong picture for it lmao

Did The Simpsons really not show up even once or did I miss it?
I missed it too.
I don't think they counted cartoons in this list

Shut up.
HOW DARE YOU TELL ME TO SHUT UP😤😤😤😤😤😡😡😡😡
According to Forbes, The Simpsons had around 30 million views in 1990. Why did it not show up on this list?
Upto 1999 I considered every Household as viewers, So Simpsons has 13.4 M viewers during 1990
Flawed ranking system then. You can’t change how you add stuff up half way through.
Here from ddoi

What about pbs
All this does is show me that the worst television is the most popular which is why I gave it up in the early 2000's.
Your just old
@@ella-ur3tn you're not your. I'm middle aged. I'll be old when I can't get up off the floor by myself and I sit on the floor all the time still.
There is mistake: Game of Thrones was the most popular TV show in 2010s.
No it was NCIS, NFL, and The Big Bang Theory.
It really scares me that the simpsons aren't on the list 😨😳🤯
Your data is quite wrong, where's Dexter, Breaking Bad and GoT on the top ???? All of these were at the top at some point. Dexter and BB didn't even show up!
Uh why is Jesse in the 2000s when it premiered in 2011?
Oh wait nvm there was another show named Jesse at that time, but why does it have Disney channels picture??
Breaking Bad didn't even made the cut? Whut!?!
Im really really really surprised that The X Files never made an appearance. People wouldent shut up about it or about Gillian Anderson, in the late 90s
The reboot seasons briefly showed up 2016.
The Xfile just popping and out

Where's Stranger things?
Why is it only American channels?
What about fresh Prince of bel air?
All my tvs broke and one that was 40.000 it only lasted a year it broke because my baby brother who was 2 years old he broke it with a telephone
I didn't see The Office anywhere. Was it not as popular as I thought it was?
the office is and was HUGE, but it didn't really gain popularity as a regularly watched program. many people rewatched later in its run, but it also did see a massive broad appeal with older generations.
I'm surprised that BB never made it to the list, like WTF? and GoT only showed in 2017 in season 7 when it already started to suck
HBO is the premium television network, so the viewers are low compared to others. If streaming service, piracy of GoT taken into consideration then it will top the chart
where's The Simpson's
