Well done Josh, welcome to the ‘wet-tropics’ and yes, that slick, red clay, on the CREB track is like trying to ride, on top, of a wet-bar-of-soap, once she gets a bit of rain on her. Looking forward now, to day two’s, fun & games. 😉👍
Great footage and narration. @22:20 A little triumphant laugh at Lance? 😄 Lions Den is a great spot. Never been there on a Friday night 'tho. How was the head?
Was keen to see this one .. followed both of you on YT for a while. Ten minutes in to this series I’ve decided you need to do another trip together. Btw watching guys hang out in camp or hotel, cooking dinner having a beer etc is always worthy of inclusion! Great stuff guys looking forward to the rest of this trip 🤙🏼
Following you both and nice to get the different perspectives of the trip..... wish I was a few decades younger to do it myself. well done guys keep up the good work. cheers
Nice one. I rode lions den to daintree through the creb about 15yrs ago on a mountain bike, great memories, the camera doesn’t show how steep and slippery it can be. We walked our bikes through the river at the end, think I’d prefer to be on a moto. Looking forward to the next vid.
I love the thumbnail, very snappy 😂 Video was great & I'm very envious of these trips you do. Looking forward to watching the rest of the trip on your channel and also on Lance's 👍
well that was a great part 1 Josh 😁👍 watched Lance,s part 1 the other day 😁👌 its great to see both sides of the same ride , really enjoyed it . keep well and ride safe-ish mate 😎🍺
Loving this channel. For some reason I’ve always thought of the cape as more dessert type bush but of course it’s rain forest. Ps new fav channel mate. Thanks for sharing.
too good josh, dream trip! and so good to capture it on video, you'll watch this in 20 years time and be able to relive it 😉 looking forward to the next instalment 👍
Nice work fellas, just got a new husky 701 Enduro a few weeks ago and once it's set up I'll be doing some adventures too. Looking forward to the next one guys, stay sunny side up 👍🇦🇺🥃🍻
I have alpine star tech 7s And the only way you prevent water in them is by keeping them out of water 😂 Our boots were wet for a lot of this trip, just how it is sometimes.
Another top video Josh. We had a training day today here in South Australia and we got talking about Yoututbe ADV content creators and your channel was discussed, so yeah you're getting some traction here in S.A.
That’s awesome to hear mate. I want everyone to get into adventure riding, so if my channel can spread the word that’s all I can ask for. 👍🏼 Thanks for watching.
Water crossings always make me a bit nervous…but now I feel I worry too much as I never have to be concerned about inserting myself into the food chain….
You went too far down on the Daintree to cross. You went into the soft stuff. What's with the croc photo. None there when water is low and water running too fast for crops. Good luck on big red. You are lucky, grader had just gone through
What's with the croc in the profile picture. They're are no crocs along the Creb Track. I know where all the crocs are and pretty much know them by name. There is none there in that area.
Na but good video bro just being cheeky, loved it. Can't wait to do it on a bike. Just jelous don't have my bike any more, would love to hit that track. Bucket list
Honestly I used to have a drz there actually surprisingly reliable for a Suzuki but to big and heavy for what the riding I was doing but yeah loved mine
You guys take way too much gear for a cape trip. Cyoty loop saddle bag is a low centre of gravity and you can put everything in those. Have done over a hundred trips up there tackling all the harder tracks and some. May town to Laura..... Creb.... Archer point... Elim Bay.....Cape Flattery.... Starke .... Wakooka.... Cape Melville.... Bathurst Head.... Lakefield NP....Running Creek.... Port Stewart to Coan via mountain track.... Iron Range... Frenchman's.... Bremwell Station.... first and second stage Tele Track.....Usher Point.... Jardine River Mouth.... Seisa.... 4 x Bamaga plain wrecks.... Five Beach Run.... The Caves.... The Tip....Wiepa.... Napoon.... Penny-farthing Beach.... Loins Den.... Cape Trib.... Cairns. That is a great trip.
Where’s the “chaos”. Easy ride. I do it every year. Heaps of fun.
What a great way to start my day - I shall spend some time dreaming that maybe I will do that someday. Greetings from the UK.
Thanks for watching mate. Hopefully you get to do it someday 👍🏼
This was one of the best adventure movies on YT
Thanks 🙏🏼

Thanks mate, you sound like you are speaking from experience? 😉
Plenty more fun to come that’s for sure!
Looked like a fun first day Josh
Mate it was an unreal way to start the trip. 👍🏼

Lions Den is a great spot. Never been there on a Friday night 'tho. How was the head?
Haha I was clearly pretty proud of my efforts 😂

Wow that’s a fair effort mate.
And no it definitely doesn’t. Some super steep sections for sure!
Great footage guys, just when you think you've done the last creek crossing another pops up.
They kept on coming! They were great though. Thanks for watching.
I love the thumbnail, very snappy 😂 Video was great & I'm very envious of these trips you do. Looking forward to watching the rest of the trip on your channel and also on Lance's 👍

Thanks mate! Sure will. I was already reminiscing it all while making this video. 😂
Awesome stuff mate! I was up there a few weeks ago and did the CREB on my Beta 200RR. Lots of fun!
Nice work mate. It’s a great track isn’t it!
Good work. Geez Lance makes the tractor look small.🤙
He’s a big unit 😂
Good one Josh! Looking forward to seeing the trip unfold 😎👍
Thanks mate.
Cheers for watching
LOVE IT
Love it 👍
Nice work fellas, just got a new husky 701 Enduro a few weeks ago and once it's set up I'll be doing some adventures too. Looking forward to the next one guys, stay sunny side up 👍🇦🇺🥃🍻
Thanks for tuning in 🤙🏼
@@_JoshJB_ you're welcome mate! 🤙👍😎🍻🥃🇦🇺
Loved it
Just what i needed
Enjoy ☺️
Rookie question: what riding boots do you use and how do you prevent them filling with water during river crossings?
I have alpine star tech 7s
And the only way you prevent water in them is by keeping them out of water 😂
Our boots were wet for a lot of this trip, just how it is sometimes.
Good work lads 👊
Thanks mate

Water crossings always make me a bit nervous…but now I feel I worry too much as I never have to be concerned about inserting myself into the food chain….
😂😂 I’m hearing you. No one got eaten in this episode which is a bonus
Great vid
Thanks mate
You should try doing the Creb before they have graded it. You rode it when it was like a highway
i want to do the cape trip. i live there in cairns but havent done the trip yet. i would need some people to go with though since im only 16
6:00 totally not my Hilux with the bonnet up because I sent it straight through the middle and had water over the windscreen hahahah. Loved the Creb.
Hahaha how good is that 😂
👍👍👏
😎👍
Did anyone see the spider at 17:30 bottom left corner
How many memory cards did you take with you?
I’ve got 6. (5 x 256gb 1 x 64gb)
Like I've said to Lance you've found a perfect partner in crime... looking forward to seeing what you guys get up to.... :)
Yea it was great to ride along with someone around the same skill level and mindset. And he’s a top bloke too 🤙🏼
Thanks for watching mate

Hahaha howz the fake croc to get people to watch
Did it make you click? 😂
@_JoshJB_ 🤣 done the track few months ago in 4wd was awsome. Shit loads of crocs 🤣
Na but good video bro just being cheeky, loved it. Can't wait to do it on a bike.
Just jelous don't have my bike any more, would love to hit that track. Bucket list
makes me want to sell my ktm and get a drz400
Snap out of it man!
Listen to your inner voice. Beasts.
I love my Honda 300 rally.
But I would always take the reliability of a Japanese bike over the power of Ktm especially if your not in the top 15percent of riders
Honestly I used to have a drz there actually surprisingly reliable for a Suzuki but to big and heavy for what the riding I was doing but yeah loved mine
Click bait profile picture. There is no crocs anywhere alone the creb track. This is coming from a local voice.
@@douglassdunn4775 good job mate. Now stop commenting on all of my videos 😂
Awesome guys, looking forward to part two 🍻🍻👍👍
Thanks mate. Same time next week 😉
