    Hi Matt, I hope you are doing well! Congratulations on your success. I don't know if you remember, but we talked before in the comments. Here I am again. I don't know why, but I am not able to achieve consistent work on Freelancer. I am a 3D artist with many years of experience, a great portfolio, over 250+ 5 star reviews, and to be honest, I generated good earnings throughout that time period. Previously, when I commented, you told me to drop rates for some time so I have cash flow and a positive mindset. I tried to implement that and got success for some time, but it didn't work for the long term, while my competitors are doing well. Also, I see that competitors are placing copy-paste bids and winning projects. I don't understand this thing. I know how to write custom/good bids, etc., but I don't know where I am lacking exactly. From your experience, what do you think?

    • @trulymsf
      @trulymsf  5 месяцев назад

      If you go that route, I think a couple of thousand, but there is also other option of time investment where you can go through freelancing sites, sites like LinkedIn etc. and do it nearly for free. Lastly, there is the easiest option in my eyes, which is cold emailing (Just published a video on that), but please bear in mind that you need to be aware of legal rules of contacting someone without their explicit permission.

      Absolutely! Hi Matt! It's a great video and we've been doing drop servicing for 10+ years now. In fact, we have 1500+ reviews on freelancer. But what we're struggling with is hunting clients outside of marketplaces and building a business which is not dependable on marketplaces. Marketplaces can restrict or ban our accounts anytime they want which will put our career in great danger. They even don't allow to change the ownership of the accounts or corporate users, but agencies like us can't depend on one person forever. It will be helpful if you can give a few advice to build up business outside of marketplaces.
    Thank you!
