I have had these speakers for 5 years now. No problems. The external volume pod is very handy, it has a line in and a headphone jack. It is still smooth feeling and does not "crackle" when adjusting the volume like so many volume controls can do when they get older. Speakers sound great for the size. I use an equalizer app called FX sound to customize the sound to my liking.
I have a pair, been 3 years and still sound amazing (to me)! Yes there are other *audiophile* grade speakers out there, but most people forget that, beyond a certain point (i.e. beyond the quality of components used), *good sound* can be subjective. So I prefer to try out speakers for the specific type of music I listen to before finalizing. These sounded great despite the fact that they have been in the market for many years now. I guess sound technology hasn't evolved that much in this price range. lol. Great unboxing video.
We cant get them now in india..can you please help? I need them i already used them but one's wire is now damaged..i need new ones...please help..can u ship to india or something?
they sound better than any speakers in the house! Loud, clear. The only negative is you have to deal with so many wires and you can’t connect your phone to it except if you have the headphone jack or the dongles.
@@pocopoco1618 its a lot different if you compare it in person. The R1280 can punch other speakers above its price range. I had them both for quite sometime.
I'm not a fan of BOSE's planned obsolescence business model so I wish I had heard about Edifier sooner as I would have bought these instead. I bought the speakers for about $300 canadian because I wanted wired only speakers without the wireless. They're overpriced for the quality. I wouldn't buy another Bose product again. They lucked out they won my business because they were the only speakers without wireless.

I have Bose companion 3 series ii its working great after using for 12 years
Best pc speakers I've ever owned. I still use mine after 6+ years.
My best speakers
Son excelentes, tuve un par antes de mudarme de uruguay y los extraño. Espero volver a conseguirlos
Is it possible to connect these speakers to JBL BAR 9.1
hi laby! I unfortunately do not know, does the JBL BAR 9.1 have a aux port?
2:30 in "you really appreciate what Apple has done" ??? Apple or BOSE? Confused here mate.
I was referencing the previous video where I unboxed the MacBook Air. The comparison between the two companies’ approach to boxes.
@@AbdullaFuad I see 👌😎💖

Bose is a fantastic brand
after owning a product of theirs, I agree!

Better than which speakers?
My Samsung TV speakers, my gaming headphones, and all other cheap speakers I have in my house. Would love to compare them to other expensive speakers.
I have the Bose Companion5 ....the best!!!

free for u
Compare it with Edifier R1280. I had both of them, and those cheap Edifiers blew Bose out of the water.
Great idea! Thank you for the comment
@@AbdullaFuad a comparison video would be awesome. Good luck on your channel! 👌🏼
@@miguelcarlos8188 i sow the comparison... Edifer look bulky & sound also not crispy compare to bose... Bose always small cute & smooth

Speakers facing to camera and you said the sound is amazing, wow nice review👍
Brother it is an unboxing, not a review.
@@AbdullaFuad blablabla, to me you were acting like surprising is just hilarious. Especially when the speakers were set opposite to your ears
hey, if nothing, i made you laugh.
These are ancient. I literally saw them, 7-8 years back
I think they release multiple versions of the same thing.
@Abdulla Fuad if it ain't broke, why fix it? I have a pair.
exactly!
@@fuckbankersTrue. Some of the latest speakers are not so good compared to ancient ones.
Blast your ears? I have 4000 watts subwoofer and it didnt blast my ears
Ok dude but honestly how can you review speakers if they are turned away from you? :)
Hi Mik. I actually am not reviewing them though, it’s just a fun unboxing video and impressions. Not a review. But I hope you enjoy it non the less.
I owed them for just 1,5 dollars
That's all about you'll need to pay for these. Once I cracked them open, I figured most competent's are valued at 10 cents.
They sound loud if you live in a bathroom
Funny you said that, I've got mine mounted in my bathroom. Awesome stereo soun.
