Well done the Thai lad I would employ him as a Hod Lab full time he is a grafter and he is learning to lay bricks bless him and not only that I would be going to his place in Thailand for a holiday I love Thai Food
That's a thing of beauty mate, as is the first wall. I'm surprised the client has gone to the cost, the host building seems relatively plain in comparison, and the purpose of the walls is unclear. Funny how a couple of walls can be such a standout feature, people will be commenting on them for years to come just because they seem so nice in comparison to the rest of the project!
I wonder one thing. You sometimes drop the protruding grout to ground. Sometimes add to the one to be laid. Sometimes it is used to fill the gaps. Is there a decisive rationale for using excess grout that squeezes from the sides after laying the brick?
@@Stucrompton1 Thank you for clearing that. I assume it is camera deception that made me think that way. I enjoy watching your confidence during the entire process. The wall seems sturdy to last for centuries.
As always, a joy to watch.

Lovely job Stu. How do you fix your profiles to the house wall to allow room for your line blocks? It’s one detail that nobody ever shows. Cheers

Shows a full joint and makes for easier pointing up. Dropping it to ground is wasteful and messy.
it goes back on the board not on the floor
