Good for you Liv your hard work is paying off as usual. Also you are pretty on ice! Youll be a pro before long. I always appreciate that you try lots of different activites and have lots of hobbies ❤
Okayyyyy laddy with the lil swizzles! 😏 I took skating lessons for about a year and loved it so much!! Its definitely a mentally challenging sport but sm fun so I'd definitely recommend getting into it if you had fun ❤
Hey Liv, thanks for sharing! Your insight about doing less intense cardio makes so much sense. I would often feel frustrated for feeling so hungry, because it conflicted with my goal of being in a caloric deficit. I have a similar goal of wanting to lose 15 pounds and have a few questions: Did you lower the intensity of your weightlifting during your cut (i.e, less weight)? Did you still lift and do cardio afterwards while on your cut? If so, what kind of cardio (regular walking, 12-3-30, etc.)? Also, about how long did it take you to lose the weight?
@@davonna6368 hi hi!! Yes I literally only turn to high intensity cardio now for heath health, athleticism, and performance goals or if I’m in need of a quick cardio solution I’ll only do it 1x maybe 2x max per week. Great questions! I did not intentionally lower weight training intensity and neither should you cause this is crucial for maintaining lean mass as we drop weight. We want to hold onto that to give us shape. Inevitably as you go deeper into the cut and calories go lower, eventually your strength may go down a little but that’s normal. But always be lifting with intensity. And yes to lift then cardio. It’s ideal to keep your cardio on non leg days just so you’re not so tired those days and can space it out I mainly just did regular walking outside. I would go for a step goal rather than seeing it as a cardio session. So I’d walk for +\- an hour everyday cause that would make me hit 10,000 steps. 12-3-30 is also a great cardio option that I do now to get my heart rate up. For timeline I lost the initial 5-8lbs kind of unintentionally by just eating less and giving walking a try. Then I realized it was actually working and I actually lost weight haha so then from there to lose the rest it was a couple of months!
So new camera means more video drops??? All for it❤ I miss frequent videos from my fav person! I keep trying to lose side, stomach and waist fat! My step count has dropped for sure since the weather changed! Great tips!!! The ice skating looked so fun❤
Yesss that’s the plan!!👏🏼👏🏼🚀 it always means so much to me that you’re looking forward to new videos. I’d love to get back to my two videos a week routine. And I hope my tips help!! Keep working hard 🩷
Wow! You look happy and confident! I seem to be in a constant bulk 😂 I love food too much to ever lean out. But I am strong and healthy and thats all that matters 😂🤙🏽
Did you first build a good amount of musle to loose fat after? Or do you think it would be possible to build some musle but loose fat at the same time? And will you eat more to build musle now?:)
@@elizabethswann5042 yes I personally took the route of gaining muscle before losing fat but because I was already lean when I started and I wanted to gain weight!! Then it got to a point where I gained more than I wanted so I cut. However it’s definitely possible to build muscle and lose fat at the same time! Esp if you’re newer to the gym! Just eat around your maintenance cals, train close to failure in the gym, and keep up a step goal. And lastly yes I have been trying to eat more to put on some more weight 🩷
Awesome! I'm struggling with the lean bulk aspect. I just went from 200lbs 38% body fat to 125lbs 16.8%. Now I've been at it for about 2 months lean gaining I'm up to 138-139lbs around 20% trying to stay around there body fat wise but want to get to 145lbs and try to lean out. I agree walking or the stair master is great for fat loss but I am strictly steps and lifting hard right now. When I lean back a bit I will decrease portions a bit like you said and walking or stairs more. I think that was hindering my gains, I've been stuck and have lost and gained the same 4lbs 😂. I'm eating 140g protein and around 2k+ calories my carbs are not crazy like 170g at the most, but I'm type 2 so I watch. You are 💯 right in making small changes add up so quick!
