Just in case you were interested, I found like 10 of the first set of hardware that you showed at a local thrift store. The round one. I had it in my my shopping cart the whole time I was shopping because I thought to myself, "These would fit McCenna's new kitchen so well." I ended up putting them back because I've never seen you ask for gifts or accept things in a PO Box opening or anything like that. I thrift all the time, if you want them I'll go back. The shop had a flat rate for all hardware of .25 cents per piece.
So sweet of you! I hope she sees this❤
If people LIKE the above post, it will move up the comments
Here’s a bump hoping she sees this!!

The greatest character development is Macenna buying blue coloured items lol
Haha this is a good one, she tends to stick to her aesthetic but when she catches an eye for something different it's awesome!
I was thinking that too 😂
I was thinking that too! It's funny how trends change - blue never goes out of style for me 💙
I think the blue tiles in her bathroom really expanded her style! 😁
The plates are based on a set of books and you got an absolute BARGAIN. You can buy figurines, miniature tea sets and a complete sets of china. My daughter has the full afternoon tea set made up of about 30 pieces including a tea pot, sugar bowl and creamer and tea and coffee cups and saucers. Look for the books so you can read about all the lovely animals to your little man💙🇦🇺
Such a great find, brought back such fond memories! I had a hardcover set of books that I treasured when I was a kid. The illustrations are just so beautiful! I'm so sad that I didn't hold on to these books. Hello from Sydney 🇦🇺
My jaw unhinged when she said she got the set for $4!!😮 Her future daughter is going to have those in her room I just know it! Sooooo sweet! ❤
I got the same set in Edinburgh, UK for £4 love it! ❤️
Incredible price for the Brambly Hedge plates 😍. My kids were raised on those books. The original cottagecore aesthetic!
What's the name of the books?
The little Brambly Hedge plates you got for such a steal!! They are based off of a book series by Jill Barklem. She wrote a story for each season about little mice that live in trees. (I would totally recommend for your baby once he gets a little older!) I have been working on collecting the tea cups, and I have paid 25 dollars per cup. So when you said you got the plates for a dollar, I was sooooo jealous! What a great find!
£5 each those plates in UK. Never worth $148😂
@@juemckoolEbay has the same set listed from $100-190. What a delightful deal she got them for
I didn't even knew they made plates or cups! I loved loved loved the books when I was a kid! I could sit and watch the pictures for hours! ❤❤
Hi Macenna, I really hope you see this, I found the handles that you only bought 2 of, they sell them at VH&L ( vintage hardware and lighting) and are identical!! I hope this helps.
I love that table! I don't know why people prefer new furniture when there are such beautiful pieces if you just keep looking.
I completely agree!
It would be so cute to put bird seed in that ceramic piece in the garden. It has perfect openings for birds on multiple sides!
I totally agree, makes a perfect bird feeder!
Yes! 🐦
I think that coffee table is one of the prettiest pieces I've seen you find, so fun to see Romeo excited about his new coffee table.
Loved todays video! I’m so glad you used the restora finish. - I’m the colourist that was giving advice on stains when you were doing the trim at the cottage! When you have a golden tone (like the restora finish) it doesn’t show much of that tone when applied to a darker finish. It just added lustre - gorgeous! Gold adds reflection and shine and glow, without actually seeing any yellow (when applied on a darker colour) think of it almost like professional lighting! It doesn’t add yellow, it adds sparkle! So glad you went with it on the legs!
I LOVE Romeo's coffee table! The 'ball-and-claw' foot was popular in England from 1710 until 1750 and is often associated with Chippendale style furniture. The feet had a big revival during the art deco period and I'm completely obsessed!
I found an antique display cabinet with lots of similar attributes, and I have to say, it's absolutely one of my favourite pieces of furniture I've ever owned!
The Bramley Hedge plates! As a lass living in the UK, I can safely say that they were the centrepiece of every breakfast in our house growing up. We had the matching bowls, and even now, I can see them on our old dining room table in my mind's eye. Enjoy them; they are a classic!
This is pretty random, but I have to tell you…..my parents have that same set of Brambley Hedge plates. They always use them whenever they serve dessert. I know all the scenes from each season! By the way…there’s also a birthday plate by the same artist. Whenever it’s one of our birthday’s, we always get our dessert served on that plate. I’ve never known anyone that had this set…so glad you found one! They’re the cutest plates!!
Brambly Hedge is a classic British children's book series in the genre of Beatrix Potter or Wind in the Willows.
The Brambly Hedge books were firm favourites with our 5 children. Even now, as adults, whenever they see a book or any Brambly Hedge memorabilia from the series, they comment with so much warmth, recalling the endless hours I read the books aloud to them. 🥰
I appreciated that you showed us a bit more of the stalls than you usually do, thank you. So glad you found some goodies.
I got the notification that MaCenna posted, but I wanted to wait to watch until I could sit & relax & make the rest of the world go away:) Thank you, MaCenna, for always posting such positive & fun videos! I just love shopping with you! P.S. the little coffee table you got is stunning, but it might have originally been a piano bench :))
I see notifications also. But I WAIT for the perfect quiet moment to enjoy the video. 😊
The 4 Paris handles are toilet flush things lol. That's why they are long.
Yes!! I also think so every time I see them.
Yes. I think no matter how much you like the lines of them, realistically they shouldn't go into the kitchen. Maybe use them as intended in your bathrooms?
Haha i just said the same thing. I was looking to see if anyone else noticed.
I've never seen a bird house or candle holder like that, it's so cool!
That is so funny, I bought a floor lamp from a charity shop 3 days ago, and it has the barley twist design 😁, it’s 93 years old. I saw it and loved it! I also have two of the winter royal Dolton plates that were bought for my two daughters when they were born 😊, love these videos xx
Is Romeo’s room makeover actually about to happen one day 😂
Romeo is going to be so invested in that coffee table, he's going to enjoy it so much and want to do other projects too! The family that stains together, stays rogether !
I love the Brambly Hedge Treasury book!! And I can 100% guarantee you would adore the sweet stories and precious illustrations ❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a great find with the table. Wow! You can tell it’s quality. And all of it, great eye!
The Brambly Hedge Plates are stunning! I have the book they’re based on by Jill Barklem. There’s a story for each season. Jill didn’t just write the stories, she also illustrated them herself. My edition is well loved as I’ve had it for over 30 years now and it’s still my favourite children’s book. You can still buy it and absolutely recommend it for you to read to your little one.
You cannot imagine how much I rely on your videos for a wonderful diversion! Thank you! You are the best!❤
ME TOO !!!!!! Something so nice to look forward to !
Hardworking momma, such an inspiration. As a reseller myself, I love to see the vintage stuff you're drawn to. Also, that might be a piano bench and not a table. Keep up the hard work. Congrats on the baby!
Brambley Hedge was my childhood - as well as the books I had a stationery set, a plastic picnic set and a few other bits. Then, when I had my daughter, I read the books to her. They are so sweet. Definitely keep an eye out for them for Little Man.
Restore a Finish is the BEST 🎉. I USE IT ON EVERYTHING!! WOOD, METAL, CAST IRON.
Those Brambly Hedge plates are stunning! I have the entire series of vintage Brambly Hedge books from my childhood - if you can find them they have the sweetest stories to read to your baby boy! I read them to my son almost every night 🥰
I love the blue and white pottery piece, try putting a battery operated candle in it with a remote
The bird house/candle holder would look so beautiful with some solar powered fairy lights in it. The copper wire ones would be perfect ❤❤
Whoooo we love a macenna upload!
NO WAY!!! i was just in london for the first time this week, went into a shop on portobello road and said to my sister “omg macenna would love this place, i feel like she would find so much good hardware for the kitchen reno here”
The claws and twists on the coffee table are so good! Also the plate illustrations are from children's books.. they're so cute!
It’s been so fun following you and Romeo navigating the upcoming growth of your family💙. You both are truly giving off all the great and beautiful vibes❤️
My sweet Willow burning in the background, so appropriate for this moment 🥰
omg yayay!!!!
Oh gosh I used to adore the Brambley hedge stories as a kid the illustrations were always gorgeous
The coffee table is amazing. It is beautiful.
I look at you McCenna and I remember the final days of my first pregnancy in Paris back in 1993. Baby will be here soon….fingers crossed for you that most of the kitchen Reno is done. Xx
My Grandma has the Brambley Hedge plates❤ We used to read the books as kids. Definitely nice to read for baby
That coffee table is precious and an absolute steal at $75 & the art you purchased was equally well priced. Flea markets are the way to go!!!
You are beaming with a beautiful pregnancy glow! It won’t be long now!
I love the coffee table, its so pretty! The twisted legs & feet are gorgeous! Not A bad price either. Mmmm love that art piece too, the frame!!❤ The birdhouse/candle holder is stunning! The hardware is really pretty too. I think you had a great haul.. maybe not bringing the cart & not expecting to find things, brought you luck😄 The kitchen reno is getting so exciting! And if your followers are excited, i can only imagine the excitement you guys feel!😊
The sigh of happiness when you post 🤍

You're ganna love them!!
I love the table - so different, so classy.
The style of the coffee table is called Barley Twist. I have a beautiful console table with the twist legs.
That coffee table is exquisite!
Ooh I love Brambly Hedge! The books are so sweet. My daughter Maeve was born in 1999, and I had the winter dishes for her winter birthday.
Love those dishes of the seasons! So sweet and pretty. Great find. And so happy Romeo got something for his office. I don’t know how you can leave little Kinsley behind when she’s looking up at you that way. Oh my heart!Have a great week you two! 😊
Thank you a zillion times for a regular thrift haul epi, like the good old days ... really missed it (with just one tiny mention of the ubiquitous "baby")
Cutest 'haul' ever❤ loved the season plates
That table is awesome and a great find. Its truly unique.
That table is the star of this episode.
Bramley Hedge! That’s my childhood right there!
I love that piece of art. With the fruit in it. I think it would be beautiful in your kitchen. Also great find on the coffee table!!
Love the new drawer pulls you bought!
Omg! Brambly hedge is a family favorite. Those are very collectable. The stories are very sweet and would be a great little nursery addition.
Those set of knives are gorgeous!
That coffee table is lovely! And those 4 seasons plates are so sweet. Nice finds.
And Mrs t that coffee table is so lovely what a great find. Those brambly hedge plates I have the exact same 4

That bird house is absolutely beautiful.
Love the art and that beautiful table. You look lovely. God bless ❤️
Macenna your baby bump has popped , your absolutely glowing ❤love the coffee table what a stunning piece
Bramley Hedge books have the most beautiful illustrations like your plates. I used to love them and look at the pictures inside the little houses and dream I lived in them. It’s also a really cute stop motion series.
MaCenna, you are looking FANTASTIC. Pregnancy is definitely good for you. Some people don’t glow when pregnant and I was one of them, but YOU GLOW! Just beautiful! Your haul was great. My favorite was the plates, they are adorable. Excited about seeing the kitchen update.❤❤❤
That hanging candle lamp thing is so unique! Yay you finding those plates for 1.00 each!
Ohh, Romeo's coffee table is gorgeous. 😊
Bird house would look beautiful in amongst the lemon trees.

I would love to see the garage being redone and organized really well. Love organization videos
Oh my god. The brambley hedge books are amazing and you have to get them for your little one. So magical. 💕
Oh my goodness, those plates are so sweet. The Brambley hedge series is out of print. My mom found the series for me and the stories are so sweet. What an incredible find!

Great finds today! Love the little table!
I love that little coffee table is a gorgeous , the feet is a beautiful , I love the art the frame is gorgeous , thank you to sharing your flea market finding🥰
Romeo that table is LEGIT ❤
@MaCenna Royal Doulton is English bone china. I'm English, living in France and you have a bargain with those finds they're very collectable. 😊😊 The barley twist table is either oak or walnut/French or English its so pretty. I have a round knee height barley twist oak plant stand apparently 1820s I would have just beeswaxed or better still french polished it all over and avoided anything acrylic (eeekk), bc you have an antique with that there coffee table ❤
Oh the Brambly Hedge series by Jill Barklem are my favourite children's books! I think you would love them too. ❤
The Bramley Hedge collection is from story books. I used to love reading them in the 80s when I was little!
The coffee table is beautiful w the barley twist legs. Will good in any room in the house. Good find!
My nana read the stories of the mice of Brambly Hedge to me as a child - oh what fun those mice had! I love them.. you're so lucky to find those plates. xx
Love the coffee table!! That ceramic birdhouse/candleholder is everything!! Great finds!!🥰
Oh I love the blue delph bird house it's gorgeous.
The table is gorgeous!!!! Love all of your finds.
I’m soooo superstitious about buggies + thrifting!!! I never get a buggy when I walk into a thrift store and ALWAYS score and have to end up getting a buggy! But if I get a buggy when I walk in I’m just rolling it around empty 😂
Wow, you had a successful flea market trip! That little bird house/candle holder thing is so cute!! I’m a sucker for all things blue and white
Love your hardware! It is so cool that you have collected it all over time.
Wow, great score. Everything is so good...love the birdhouse, that table, and those plates , so good everything is very valuable. I'd keep the beautiful birdhouse inside for a plant to hang out of it
I audibly gasped when you showed the plates from the Brambly Hedge collection! I am obsessed with the season book series specifically. I have all of them, I NEED to find these plates! 😍😍😍 Gorgeous!
I agree that is a great haul . Those plates are adorable ! Glad Romeo got his table, and wow that picture is beautiful !! Nice job on the table Romeo !!!
The picture frame is a stunning piece. You can use the 'Birdhouse' as a candle holder or as a bird feeder in the garden....
Love the table! That has so much character
My dad and I refinished furniture and as I remember we used a fine steel wool on the final sealing…
You have to get the books that the plates are based on! They are so sweet.
