Chase, What is some of your previous bikes? Some of your favorites? I'm asking because I'm not a track rider but my cousin wants to do more tracks. Recommend track bikes?
My favorite bike that I've had up to now was my KX450. Didn't have the strongest motor, but that chassis is so comfortable and stable. With the Ride Engineering clamps I had on this Honda, it never really felt nervous, but the Kawi just felt so planted all the time. I felt like I could charge into rough, choppy sections and had total confidence the bike was going to absorb everything and track straight. Before that I had a 2017 CRF450R, the 2018 RMZ 450, and now this bike. I'm getting the new YZ450 as soon as it shows up so be on the lookout for a ride review on it. - Chase
For starters, the E-start is nice haha. There are two areas where the RMZ was, in my opinion, better than my Honda, it cornered a little sharper (splitting hairs), and I actually liked how well that BFRC shock got traction to the ground accelerating out of corners. But aside from that, I like everything else on the Honda more. The pull on the hydraulic clutch is better, it has less engine brake, better motor (stock), the rider triangle is good on both, the Honda has the Torque Control that I actually use quite often, three maps to choose from, and a few other things. Both bikes can beat you up a little bit when the track gets rough and choppy, but at the end of the day, I would take the Honda every time. - Chase
Check out all the parts we put on this CRF450R here: rmatvmc.link/2021-crf450r-bike-build
Looks like different brake rotors. Are you going to put a pipe on it and do a review?
