@@christianh5839 I fixed vacuum during christmas. this time I think it's boost leaking somewhere or turbo pulling weaker, I dont know....the torque pull is just not there and it has been few years when I felt it. mechanics are worthless where I live...changing parts and no fix. If I have the proper jack and can go under car, I would fix it, but my current conditions won't allow me to raise the car and work on it...otherwise I would change seals in red hose and look at intercooler connections too
I got this car stock, 286hp, it's already surprising how you can spend all your time stuck in your seat, comfortably getting really fast without hitting high RPM (between 3000-4000RPM is already a huge torque pushing your seat into the trunk), thanks speed regulator for saving my driving licence. That's one more nice video sir !
Those BMW 5 Series cars are real sleepers when it comes to speed. I had an E39 540i, it was only turning 3,000rpm at 100mph, just cruising. I can only imagine what this mad diesel felt like with 700 ft-lbs!!

This 535d is crazy fast for a diesel but you'll also love the 330cd (tuned) I used to have an estoril blue with champagne leather ( very rare colour combo, especially for a 330cd ) and i went a bit crazy with it, hybrid turbo, bigger inter cooler, custom remap, egr delete, 3 inch straight through ( sounded great, no one believed me when I used to say it's a diesel). It was running 300bhp and for a diesel it was such a quick car! I have posted a video on RUclips if you'd like to see it and hear it. You won't regret getting one

Oh ye got e60 535d too 360hp 650Nm really fast car and I really love it:) I have a Heavy foot and average Mpg in town is 14 litres /100km thats not bad. Only thing this car lacks is a nice petrol sound. What surprised me when I bought it is how nicely the car handless it feels like much smaller car when u drive it!
These return 40+mpg on a run too! Shame most of the pre face-lift ones are money pits, most needing gearbox rebuilds and the injectors also fail and cost circa £300 a piece but when they work they're fantastic all round machines. 👍
Being the owner of an e60 535i with the N54 platform I have to say they’re amazing cars. I know this is the diesel but the e60 is really an amazing car. Plus right now in the states they’re not super pricey, I’d pick it up if you’re looking to have some fun.
These cars have a torque restricted 1st and 2nd gear so you don't shred the box, you can get a remap on the box which eliminates the restriction, mine is stock box with stage 1 engine map, feels OK 1st n 2nd but wen It hits 3rd bye bye to what evers in the rear view haha

Yeah this car is very decisive, bought similar car and driving it back I thought I was within the speed limit till I looked down. Had to break really hard. Its very quiet inside and because it’s diesel, loads of torque and doesn’t rev high like petrol engine.
Good car, looks a bit different to my old 535d!!! But....it would (or rather, should) fail its MOT cos of the DPF removal. Admitting it on YT is a bit silly and not sure your friendly MOT tester will appreciate it!!

Got the 535d e60, ans i love it. that extra power down low is so worth the extra money. But only thing i dont like about diesel autos you dont have power when you want it. Like my old 2l petrol manual. Was much more fun to drive. My 535d feels good on open road but for city i might go back to gti, much better for city and fun driving.

Tom JK Pre-LCI 03-07 has the R90 fuel pump from factory, only the LCI's 07-10 benefit from doing this
