- My mum is a brilliant sewer and I am determined to learn more from her! Follow along as we make simple cushion covers from a dress I no longer wear. It was a great repurposing project we had such fun doing. Go Gently with Bonnie Wright
I find Bonnie's videos a very safe space 🤍 my 2022 so far hasn't been easy and soon it'll be my mother's 5th anniversary since her passing and I get a lot of comfort from watching bonnie and her mother in this video 🤍 thank you for doing these and putting hard work into them bon ❤️
I’m so sorry 😢 to hear about your mother I hope heaven is upon her and peace is in your hearts and May god make it easy for yous I know life isn’t easy I may not know you but I pray for you and your mental well-being love you♥️☺️
Sorry to learn that 🥺 Christmas and the time around it is not always fun for me as well since I lost my grandma 6years ago. I think a lot about her. Every day I fear I might lose someone else and since my mom is getting older and older and she smokes a lot that doesn't help. But I'm trying always to see the brighter side of things.
@@starshocker Awh I'm sorry for your loss 🤍 yeah Christmas especially I find incredibly hard and it just doesn't feel the same since 🥺 I know it's hard not to overthink especially when you are scared to loose someone but try to live in the moment 🤍

I am very sorry for your loss of a loved one. In my 19 years, I have also lost a lot of people. But, there is one good saying, I learned about it when I watched Harry Potter for the first time in my life, it sounded like this: "Do not pity the dead. Pity the living, and especially those who live without love." After all, one way or another, the person we loved will live forever in our heart ❤️
Sending you love 💕
Bonnie, I'd love to see a video on your make-up/skincare: the vegan or sustainable products and things you use, and also your make-up routine, cause it always looks amazing!
The message in this video is incredibly important. Not only to repurpose the fabric, but the passing of knowledge. My father passed away when I was 16 and I was such an angsty teen I never appreciated his experience and knowledge. The things I wish I could ask him now as an adult. He was an artist and now I am as well but there are tricks of the trade that I never thought of asking him about, things that I know he had experience in but it died with him. If you are lucky enough to have your parents still with you, ask ask and ask away!! Thank you Bonnie!
Been feeling emotional and sensitive lately, seeing this new update made me feel slightly lighter. Thank you Bonnie 🤍
I really hope that you continue to make these videos. They are so calm, safe, and relaxing. Thank you for sharing this with us.
You two emanate so much calm and affection. 🤍🤍
I love your mother's hair, so lovely.
Your mum is a genius. Very inspiring. Thanks for posting 🙂
This is so true, change takes time! It is super important to go slowly, stay patient and actually "go gently" whenever we are setting ourselves some goals or trying to implement a new habit. Good luck on your sewing Journey Bonnie! Thank you for this inspiring video ! Greetings from France :) Julia
That was great! Looking forward to giving it a go. Love your mum's idea of using the string to pull the strap right side out. So much easier than what I've tried before!
Adorable cushions, and precious time spent with mom! 👏🏻
You’re mom’s voice is so soft and its sooooooo soothing to hear
Your videos are always very informative and wholesome. I always get excited when you post. Thank you for all of the videos.
I LOVE YOU MY BONNIE
And I hope you remain wonderful as you are... you are my inspiration and I think you are an incredible human being ❤
Been checking every day for another upload from Bonnie 🥰 Go Gently videos with Bonnie make me feel safe and hopeful, as well as inspired and motivated. How lucky we are to have this channel!
Loved the video. Thank you for sharing this special time with your mum. It was so inspiring!
Not sure if you're gonna see this but, I think It's so amazing that you've started a youtube channel, it got recomended to me and me being just 13 years old, don't know much about saving our planet etc. But I think it's great that many people who know you as the actor of Ginny, they'll watch your videos and get inspired (even though they aren't really interested) and I love that !
I wish you the best and you're one of my role models, Ilysm❤
I would love to see a video about sustainable fashion and the brands you choose to support. I am loving this channel!
Lots of natural light, I like that. Feels very "fresh".
I love the relationship you have with your mom! True love! Your videos are extremely comforting to me :) you've been reminding me to be more aware of the trash outside and to use as little plastic as possible! i love rewatching your videos, especially in times like these :)
I had never seen that style of making cushions, and I love it.
I think I'm going to adapt this method to making a new cover for my dog's bed.
Bonnie what a lovely relaxing video, the cushions were very cute, I love the bows. It's lovely being taught by your mum and can be passed down in generation's. I have to say even though you and your mum are wonderful at making videos, the little star for me was Billy xxxx I love him 🐾🐾 xxx so cute xxx
You have my vote.🙂
Your videos always cheer me up. ❤️ Thank you 🙏🏽
These videos are so down-to-earth, approachable, calming, and inspiring for those of us who are trying to be more conscious - and gentle - about how we move through this life. Each episode feels like a treat, ends too soon, and the wait for the next one feels long, which tells you how enjoyable they are! Thank you to Bonnie and the kind people in her life who are willing to share interesting projects, fresh ideas, and good humor with the rest of us.
I have recently switched to plant based eating and I’ve found your book to be so extremely helpful. Tomorrow we are visiting a community compost to get started with that. I didn’t know they existed until you mentioned it 💕💕
Love Bonnie's videos. They feel so warm and comfy. It kinda soothes your mind after a rough day.
Plus, I love that we get to know not only the actress but the person behind the actress.
You're such an inspiration in how you live your life. It's refreshing to see a celebrity as a role model for gracefulness vs the usual glitz and glamor that society tends to romanticize. Excited for your new book and hope you keep this channel going!! 💖
What a wonderful way to sped time and connect with your mum!
I should really ask my mum if she can teach me how to knit her amazing woolly socks. She's so good at knitting and I honestly don't know how I'd survive winter without the numerous woolly socks, scarfs, hats, headbands and mittens I got from her. They are the best gifts!
My grandma is an amazing sewer! She made all her family's clothes (and most of mine until I reached 18), and I set this same goal for myself this year :) to ask more and practice a bit and get started, at least for the simple things. Also, turning 30 in 2022 and the sewing machine is a must I'll get! Thank you for sharing Bonnie :)
My daughter just shared this amazing video with me. She said it made her remember all of the clothes I either knitted or sewed for her through the years. The love between you and you mom is heart-warming ♥
I like your videos too much bonnie, thanks for the dedication of your videos
Wonderful video! I am a trained sewing technician after learning the skill for a job I had in a Costume Shop during my time in college and graduate school. We sewed costumes and hats for operas and musicals. Sewing is such an amazing and fun skill to have! Well done! Thank you for this enjoyable video!
Love your mom, I don't like to sew but you both made it look fun, love you!
Bonnie your videos are amazing! There so clean and give a fresh start at things. I love your love for the world and you make me think better about the world. 🌎 🤍

Bonnie, I would love to see a skincare video, you know? your skin care and that kind of thing. more specifically a spa day in your little house 💕
your channel is such a comfort to me, i love u sm
What a wonderful video, thank you so much! On a more superficial note: i love sour mum’s hands, Her nails and the rings and just everything about it. 🥰
Your videos are calming and entertaining as always, please keep up the good work, looking forward for your next video bonnie, have a nice week and please stay safe everyone💚💚💚
This is such a calm, inspiring and happy place for me.
And I love how this pillowcase turns out. Looks so pretty.

I love this! I actually learned how to paint from my dad. He’s an artist and now I’ll pass it on to my son. 🥰
That's amazing!
I love your episodestoo much and I have watched all episodes more than 5 times
Happy New Year my dear Bonnie! May this year be great for you and your family!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lovely lovely video, I absolutely adore this channel, Bonnie! It was also very reassuring that I’m not the only one who’s been feeling tired in these first few weeks of the new year, “going gently” in more ways than one, and that’s beautiful! 🖤
Yes even l would love to see your daily skincare and makeup products because always you look fresh and clean 😇😇
I literally had unproductive weeks but I think I'll work hard now onwards... Watching someone improving their skills really encourages me... Lots of love
You and your mum together was just so cute to see 💜
To be completely honest, I don't have much to comment on the content of this video because I couldn't follow the entire tutorial as I was busy witnessing the energy and effort you and your mummy put into this video, and the lovely chemistry your duo has. 😊 I mean, it's tough for me to recall when I was involved with my mummy to such a degree in doing anything. I'll try my best to change that.
Oh, by the way, I am delighted by reading several comments of people telling how much they were looking forward to this video.
Truly, I am beyond grateful for everything you do, Bonnie. I think it won't be wrong to say that 'RUclips' is fortunate to have you. Please do take very good care of yourself. Thank you so much!🙏🏼
I'm obsessed with your mum's hair! So beautiful 😍
Thought I had missed an episode for a second until I looked at your channel and saw 5 was not there.
Loved the cushions thought you can also turn them into bags too just by adding a longer handle through the ties.
I find watching this very relaxing!
So gentle! Also the design is beautiful!
Nothing better than a warm cup of tea 😃 cheers, Bonnie 🤍 you are pure inspiration ☮️🌐👣
Oh my goodness! The years I have spent fiddling with turning fabric inside out, I have not seen that string trick. Such a great idea that I plan you use on my current sewing project! Thank you!
Bonn i have so proud of you my baby
Very sweet, Bonnie! Hope 2022 is off to a great start!
I hope you meet all your goals and that you do very well on your channel, you do your best to take care of the environment 💖

You and your mom really reminded me of my grandma , she taught me sew both by hands and by machine when I was 9-10 years old at the time of my summer vacation, no sadly she is no more with us but this is the leagacy she gave me and I will be happy to pass it on .....
Love from India
I think that is so important to maintain a connection with family, specially after leaving home. thank you for the amazing video!!
I love this Bonnie! I just discovered your channel recently and is so calming. I loved sewing and doing crafty things growing up. I would knit while watching Harry Potter sometimes. Thank you for sharing your talents with us! ❤️
I love you Bonnie 💗💗
seeing to you and your mother sewing make me remember to my mom and my grandma doing the same, and me like a child admired each beautiful creation. My grandmother was a sewing worker and she really had a precious gift in her hands (although not me, sadly ) Thanks for sharing this amazing experience. Always is a pleasure watching you.💚🌼💚
Think this was my fav episode yet 😌
your Mom is so lovely!
I lovee youu Bonnie. You and your mom are both prettyyy💚💚💚
Hi Bonnie. It was great seeing you and your mom spending time together. She seems like such a kind person. The pillows you two have made are so cute. I have been wanting to sew recently and this just made me want to even more. I hope you have had a great new year so far.❤️
Such a lovely skill! I also learned it from my mother who used to create beautiful things for me. And now that I think of it, I believe that I have never told her how much I appreciate her for doing that and this video just remind me of it. So, tonight, I will go and visit my parents, and let her know :)
This is lovely, thank you Bonnie and Bonnie's mum! You've inspired me to get the sewing machine out (my mum's old one which she gave to me when she got her latest one!) I'm so glad she taught me to sew
So pleased you're feeling inspired! :)

Such a sweet episode!
Again, another wonderful video! I absolutely love this and your mom is the sweetest! I totally understand what you're feeling. I've been overwhelmed with the need to do so many things at once but I have absolutely no drive to do anything. It's really made me a bit anxious like something's wrong with me. I think going for long walks with an audiobook or a podcast kind of helps 💖just need to find ways to sloooow down. Hope everyone is doing well! Thank you for this video!
