This doesn't really help if you can't estimate the numbers. Ok storing is cheap, but let's say I am not a server admin by training and just want a internet presence for my portfolio website that i can craft very confidently. What is the outbound data transfer for such a simple static website? Is it the ( size of index.html file + size of imgs loaded on screen ) times how often someone loads your website?
It is a little tricky, especially if you don't have any past data to base your estimates on. Yes, all of that is part of the outbound data transfer (size of index.html file + size of imgs loaded on screen). To get an accurate estimate, you would need to add up how much data is being transferred when someone visits your site and multiply by how many visits you estimate you will get on average.
please create real life example, upload simple to do app with nosql db, what service have to choose, and what is Number of process , Concurrent requests per container instance, minimum number of instances, do its needed for those service to do app, and what/ how estimate cost of todo app for x user? example todo app have 10000 user active per month
Can someone help me out!! Suppose,I want to start a startup where i am gonna make an app say food delivery app( like ubereats) so what would be the estimated cost per month per month if i get about 200 visits a day ?? Which cloud provider should i choose ??
How do I calculate the costs if I have several RUclips videos on my website (ec2). So no uploads only RUclips links added where visitors can play the videos. How do you calculate the costs that will come up for me ? what do you call these costs that arise?
The pricing calculator is great, but does not get all that granular. The great news is, however, when you actually implement a solution you can granularly monitor costs. In the scenario that you describe, there should be very little costs because RUclips is doing all of the heavy lifting of streaming the video. The EC2 instance is just sending the appropriate commands to RUclips. So the data out that you are going to be charged for will be so minimal it is typically not a factor. Something else I wanted to point out is that in general we don’t have to worry about data into AWS, there are not typically charges there. But what we do have to worry about is data out where there are typically charges. Hope that helps!
i have some doubt , Will be there any team or a person in the company whose job is to tell others about which ASW services to choose for the given project by analysing the cost and it's use
Beware of AWS free offers. I already tried it and they make irregular charges, the resolution of disputes takes a long time. Personally I would not put my clients in the hands of AWS. Even when they admit you were charged without any reason, they take a lot of time to refund your money. After 4 months I´m still waiting a refund. Anyway they will still mistakenly charging you, every month. My solution was to block my Debit Card, and sue my bank for not protecting me against this forementioned mistakes. My bank charges me for a insurance every month. I wonder If this is the way Jeff Bezos makes money to travel to the extratosphere.
Thumbnail is godlike!

Pro tip: watch series on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching loads of movies these days.
Love that thumbnail
Thanks! Trying to add a little excitement to the topic. Haha
so... When i will backup 3 tb the cost will be minimal... but IF I will download someday whole 3tb back they will charge me 276$ ? -Hell no! lol
Those numbers gave me more stress -_-

I had a similar experience. They charged me for a lightsail instance after a month of cancellation.
