I absolutely agree! I adore his lectures! Bah, of course you need some CL in your life :D They're some of the most unique and expressive pieces functional art out there in the synth world. I play with most of mine daily :) I really do enjoy all of them!
@@d42kn355 Definitely been drooling over the plumbutter as well as Serge in general the last year or so, but I’m trying to learn as much about their philosophies to open up new ways of thinking about the gear I already own. Recently got back into Make Noise after many years of 5U format (which I still love).
Why is the build quality so atrocious for something so expensive? I literally got a splinter from my sidrax on the first day, so many unfinished woodworks on this extremely pricey work of art. Seriously an hour of sanding and touchups would make this beautiful in body as well as spirit. All these square holes which should have been round drilled too. After all the hype I expected a bit more care to be taken.
Please direct this question at Patch-Point, as they are now the ones that build them. They are also under the impression that they have zero unhappy customers...... lol
