Great. Happy to see the room get replenished. Where are the CB's. Also we are losing two AA in the middle. OU has to fill those spots with depth. Plus the edge's. The work never stops.
I am not sure about Arbuckel, and his play calling is going to cut it in the SEC his calling relies on a lot of throwing it would be necessary to have a good run game as well, and some 6ft 1 WR would have been nice with OU having to go up against big teams I don't feel good about next year. I pray that I'm wrong.
If we just win a couple more games next year in that tough schedule, that will be a blessing. I wouldn't go nuts on champ talk. it's put up or shut up time. We have to earn respect, they won't take a step back for anyone.
They're not going. To wait, they're going after these guys so they can get on top of everything and get ready for next year. There's no time and no need because there's a lot of talent that's already in there and with the right quarterback and the right offensive line , you can do anything
What “fans” need to understand is each of these targets fit Arbuckles system well. They also need to understand that sometime lack of production isn’t always due to lack of talent and ability sometimes maybe they don’t have a good relationship with the receivers coach, and they don’t get reps, because they aren’t valued as high as the should be. I’m saying this to say there are a ton of factors to be considered. Don’t write these recruits off before they even get on campus.
