Charmer is my fave, I’m so obsessed with that song! Venom is a close second, that pre-chorus has some kind of hold on me
The entire album is no-skip. It's so good. I can't wait to see your reaction to the 'Venom' mv. It's already in my top 20 for 2022.
16:00 As a fellow Felix bias, I get it. With other groups, it took time for me to realize who my bias was. With Stray Kids, it happened with the first mv I watched, 'Victory Song'. Before I even knew who any of them were. The moment Felix started with that super deep voice, that's when he got me. The second mv was 'God's Menu', which just confirmed I was a Felix bias.
The rap line really went off in this album. I love that Hyunjin and Felix got so many lines and their delivery was amazing.
My fav out of the 4 may be a tie between Venom and Charmer, I cannot decide yet!

What you said about hyunjin is so true!! Tbh I forget lyrics easily cuz I enjoy the song so much and you’re right it’s so much better that he sang that line. His stage presence is unparalleled he’s SO SKILLED I admire him so much for his work ethic and how amazingly he executes his moves.

I really couldn't pick one song as my favorite. I usually don't like to rank songs (I'm perfectly fine with others doing it, of course), particularly if all songs are fantastic like these! I can pick a favorite when a song really stands out as something different, but, like you said, in this first part, although they all have their distinct features, the songs are very stylistically consistent. If I had to pick, I'd go with Maniac, but it's like a 0.5% preference. They're all a treat
YES!! i feel like they purposely ended freeze like that so that you'll feel like you need more so then you replay the song because i know damn well for me i have to loop the song bc that ending was just downright disgusting

Freeze ddaeng is a korean children’s game of tag. When someone who’s it touch you, you freeze and don’t move. Your teammate can unfreeze you by touching you and saying ddaeng.
Lyricism wise, they are implying that the person who is ‘it’ represents society and how they always stops you from being who you are. You can also see the symbolism when they said put your hands up, like when policing you, your action is to put your hands up. The end of the song make sense because stray kids now wants you to be free, the last lyric is ddaeng(unfreeze). They figuratively said ‘we’re free, now it’s your turn’
My favorite out of these 3 is Charmer. However, my favorite song of the whole album is Waiting For Us. I just love ballads!
I’ve listen to the album a few times and every time my favourite changes. It’s always between these 3 though. If I had to pick now it would be venom, that song is just perfect. It’s such a stray kids’ song, if you know what I mean. It doesn’t sound like any of their other songs, but it’s so much them and them alone. Actually the first 4 songs are like that. They’re surprising and unique without losing their essence. I can’t imagine anyone doing songs like that, and it’s such a credit to 3racha and everyone involved in producing and writing them. I couldn’t be more proud.

Loved your reaction!! I felt exactly the same when I first heard the full song of Venom! I freaking LOVE it! So for the whole album it has been my fav since the beginning. Second place is tied or fluctuates between Maniac and Charmer. Then Lonely St., Waiting for Us, Freeze. Muddy waters is a good song..like I can tell it’s great but it’s just not my fav style of song so I don’t listen to it.🤷🏻 But the rest I listen to far more then is probably healthy.😂😋 Anyways…of to watch part 2 if it’s up! Thank you!!!🥰

For me, whenever I think of a rapper that can also sing really well, I think of Joohoney of Monsta X. For him singing, check out the cover of the song Versace On The Floor by Bruno Mars if you haven't yet. He absolutely kills it!!! As for what my favorite song on this album, I really like Freeze.

I love this album… hyunjin in Venom and Felix in Charmer must be the most sexy way of singing that I ever heard !! I preordered my copy of the album and it is my first time buying an album from other band beside Bts ! I’m excited 😁😁😁I don’t have a bias , they are so amazing I can’t choose , I have a soft spot for Lee Know( the one I would marry) Han for me is the most complete member , the most surprising for me was Felix and Hyunjin, their duality is unbelievable, I just want to be attached to them all day , cuddling! ChanBin with his alien voices , insane rap , BangChan everybody’s boyfriend/husband/friend/ leader amazingly talented and sweet and our two babies… they are growing up so fast, can’t wait to see them in future! in conclusion: I’m here to STAY !!!
