Detective Conan, for the kid with glasses. The guy in the white suit- Kaitou KID- makes a few appearances in the manga/anime, and several in the movies. Magic Kaito (or Phantom Thief KID) revolves around Kaito Kuroba, who is Kaitou KID. Both are awesome series, and I'd strongly recommend them. :) Also, I'm pretty sure Mqgic Kaito only comes in the subbed version. I'd suggest anilinkz if you wanted to watch either of them.

He doesn't know, the ova is based off Magic Kaito volume 3 chapter 5 with Conan added in. I'm guessing the scene is added just for the viewer eyes.
