I got a chance to try out salvaging in a Vulture when the PTU was going on for 3.18. It was a lot of fun and I hope to pick one up when it's sold in game. Great guide, Karolinger!

Run sappers for your weapons. Once shields are down, you can begin stripping the hull of the attacker.
This is the best Vulture overview i have seen, watched alot of them. I think the upside to the Vulture is huge. With the new features coming in the near future it will get even better. A solo money maker. Scrape it, loot it, strip its components.

Having an option to exit out the flight deck door is a nice feature. It's very fighter or Avenger-like and is convenient.

Salvaging is the only industrial gameplay I have been interested in. Its just so simple and satisfying! I will say though, I have yet to find a single salvage point at a lagrange point which makes me sad :(
currently there are problems with the spawning of wrecks again 😱
You can get missions to L points to salvage... Not sure if you have to pay anything for them...

Yes, the option will come with the next version. Individual larger parts are separated and then pulled into the lower area by means of a tractor jet and crushed with a roller 👌
is there any way to get new salvage heads? one of mine broke off and i cant find a way to get another one. google says you cant buy one and reddit says there is no fix.

I tried the Vulture out in the 3.19 Free fly, and I was really looking forward to it. Sadly after an hour of salvaging, and taking the cargo to sell it (4 SCU in 1 hour), I got a $30k reward at Lorville selling it. Wow I could not believe 1 hour only paid me that. Not like I had a choice of what I picked up like in mining! Seriously let down to find out how little it makes! I don't mind moving the boxes etc, but you can only salvage 1 material. 4 scu of salvaging should pay more than $30k! I can do 4 bunkers in less time and make 10x that. Also it needs 2 level headlights so you can actually see what you are doing. The lights are very dim and its more important to have brightness in complete darkness to see what u are doing.
With larger wrecks, the hold is actually completely full very quickly and the payment is more worthwhile 👌 If necessary, try a salvaging mission 🤞
3.22 mechanics has arrived with better lighting, 2x materials, better pricing and a new storage buffer as well.. I now make around 400k per large ship salvage mission. . . When it comes to bunkers, you have to remember how long it takes you to get to that level to be able to complete bunkers, and you need to enjoy combat (some of us don't). The Vulture is ''new player friendly'' & you dont have an NPC trying to kill you.. .. Sometimes, it is not about how much money you make.

the standard vulture is sufficient for all salvaging areas. I would only use a military one as a quantum 🤞

you couldn't have places the information in a worse place, when I pause the video all the info is behind the play/pause overlay. please place it on top or in the middle of the screen or just a list of the module sizes would have sufficient.
