im not lying... i know a person (not too close) who used to be an SM trainee, she trained just for a short period.... she sees them from a far shinee always have fun each other... went to cafe, train together and joking stupid things, but she said shinee members treat each other more like 'work partner' other than friends... doesnt mean its bad tho... She said shinee is so professional and always supporting each other but still cuz their work spirit is too strong, so they naturally treat each other as work partner while each member have their own circle of friends (actors/other idols/non celebrities)
It's kind of normal, I think they're already lucky enough to all like each other when they were put together for work. Plus even if you really like the person, having to spend all your time with somebody kinda draw you apart, they already have to work together and live together so it's only natural they have to spend their break time with other people I think ^^
