Can you bring the awning brackets down so its lower. Reason I ask is I am getting this same rack and want to put my teruca 180 awning on there but I also have a roof top tent and I need the sides to be clear so I can put up the rain flys on the tent. So does that awning mount come down some for it to be lower?
Standard! I was going to order the wide, but they advised me that it should work with the standard, I just threw a 5 foot strip of weatherstripping in between, and it sealed up pretty nicely
Well those parts allow you to move it or put literally anything on. You would love it, little work putting it together but once your done your done and you can build/modify it any time
The rack can’t be too close to the cab because of what we do in the flex, otherwise you’re gonna get rub, it fits perfectly over the bed of the truck as it’s intended to.
The ability to transfer for it as your build goes through it’s phases is definitely worth it. You can switch things up, change things, fully modular it grows with your build.
I was waiting for this vid. Can’t wait to see what else will go on it
Thank you!!! 🙏 my original traction boards are too big so I’m putting on some smaller ones
Possible to add axis gate to rear, sort of creating a truck topper look? Any way to lock the flip up gates for security?
I think that is doable and a great idea
Lookin good homie!! 🔥🔥🤘 hook it up with that awning , is it a 270 ?
No it’s a standard pull out like 8.2x8.2 ft.
@@JT4X4OFFROADING Awh damn , still lookin rad !! 🤘🤘

Yes I’ll throw up a video on shorts when I get home so you can see but yes the mounting position is adjustable!
If you end up grabbing a rack, definitely consider using our code!
Does this fit over a softopper
Oh that’s a good question, I would shoot Xtrusion overland an email with what your looking for because I think they do have a version that does
They make a soft topper kit.
@@IFHSP2 yes they do!
That's so clean..... my OCD approves. 😂😂😂
Hey! Do they have options that fit into T slots for truck bed covers with that option like tonnaue? the website is a bit confusing to navigate
I’m not 100% sure about that, I know if you call them they will help you. I called and they got me setup!
It looks like the liftgate removes the rack's side brace. Does not having the side braces affect the rack's sturdiness?
No, the side brace for the axess gate was moved to the top maintaining structural integrity
What height rack did you end up going with? It looks perfect height?
17 inches to put about even with the cab
Can you drop the link to the exact product on the website. The one you have looks different than the one advertised on their website for the Colorado.

Awesome
What tent do you plan to put up there?
@@adrienibon because we have a large dog, we went with the 4 x 4, Colorado alto elite!
Did you use the wide mounting brackets for tonneau cover or did you order standard?
Standard! I was going to order the wide, but they advised me that it should work with the standard, I just threw a 5 foot strip of weatherstripping in between, and it sealed up pretty nicely
What height did you end up going with? It looks perfect!
Were you able to add you Tonneau cover back onto the bed once you had the rack on?
Yes!! The cover went back on, I did a short so you can see it
What height was this rack? Want to get one for my ranger and dont want it too high
17 inches for me, matches roof height
Does it work with a bed cover?
Yes it does
That Bed rack is 🔥. Did you had to modify your tonneau cover side rails to put it back on your truck?
no modification needed, I put some 3M weatherstripping in between to cover the 1/8 gap, that worked perfect
@@JT4X4OFFROADING Do you have a link for that tonneau cover?
Looks awesome! I hate all the small parts though 😮
Well those parts allow you to move it or put literally anything on. You would love it, little work putting it together but once your done your done and you can build/modify it any time
What’s the height for that rack?
17 inches
There’s no 17 on the website. There’s only 10, 15, & 19?
@@EM-gv9ol email them with the exact height that you’re looking for or give them a call and then will customize for you
Nice, looks like BarbQ Grill 🇺🇲🙊🙈🙉
I want a rack for light duty wood hauling not a lot just a few sheets of ply some hard wood lumber her e and there
this bed rack is perfect. Perfect for you.
they claim to sell all the components individually on their website so you can diy it but they don’t actually have them in their store
They are typically made to order because so many of their rigs have specific heights for different platforms
there's too much space between the rack and the cab and the rack and the tailgate
The rack can’t be too close to the cab because of what we do in the flex, otherwise you’re gonna get rub, it fits perfectly over the bed of the truck as it’s intended to.
Looks great but for over 2k….iiidk

I’m definitely going to get one for Kayak mounting. Only worth it if you use it!
