By this time you knew prince Yun was trash yet you helped him even after you had to know you were dying from the poison. The plot is great and this drama is really awesome! But I noticed so many characters in this drama decide to end their life suddenly and then they become a dead end for our "detectives"/"mystery gang". The screenwriter is really making hte story move forward by quickly getting rid of characters whose worth has been exhausted.

He's not going to be stealing a throne if he's dead. And even if he has an army coming, so what? He'll be too dead to enjoy it.
Maybe they wanted him to expose anyone else. Or just the script. I really wanted to see Like Yu die for all the assassinating she did. Maybe poison her with torture poison, bring her back, and then poison her again. A few times.
This is why I will always hate politics. Good guys almost always die and the bad guys almost never pay for their crimes until decades later. Love this series though. Especially the lead officer.
