Just to clarify this video is specifically covering AirPods alternatives. Aka half in-ear. Aka Semi in-ear. Aka earbuds WITHOUT ear-tips. Comparing this style to a regular bud without an ear tip is not a fair comparison. They are different types of earbuds. ✌

Great video. Thanks. I have just watched it and bought the Edifier W320TN. Everything is great, beside the control customisation: I cannot mute them with pinch 😢 I have to use them for calls and this was my #1 requirement. Can you tell us which one has the mute functionality? Thanks

You're looking for the Galaxy buds 2. Good price, most comfortable/ light earbud, amazing sound quality, low latency.

Hi, i am really struggling between JBL wave flex and the Edifier W320TN, as they are exactly the same price in my country. I want to ask for advice of whitch ones to buy concidering i am holding on mostly on 1- Sound quality 2- Bass+ Volume 3- Comfort. I will appriciate your advice !
Do you have a somewhat recent video of over the top bass buds with high volume?
I bought the Liberty 3 pro and buds FE recently and neither have enough bass for me. Particularly both are low volume.
The Buds FE actually have a lower rattling type bass than the l3p which i like, but they cant be pushed far or they start to distort.
The lp3s can be pushed with preamp boost without distortion but the bass seems too clean...i want that booming rattling bass.
The Soundpeats H1 and Jabra 75t arent available where im at (korea), only a few newer models.
Your max volume db spec lists in more recent videos is nice.
Ur vids info seem to be quite legit unlike some other utubers.

Nice vid. I got the Edifier w320tn and Im happy with it. The sound is great but I notice when there a lot of vibration with the anc, I think the earbuds are losing on quality (tested on a long distance bus) but I don't have this problem on a train for exemple. The confort is nice but i would not going to sleep with. The battery ok, nothing special but the fast charge is perfect. LDAC is great but not on by default also you can't use LDAC on multipoint dues for some limitation. Give a 8 out of 10 ! Cheers for France !

Thank you for this post. I am shopping for some open ear buds and comfort is a big deal to me. I had gotten the soundpeats air 3 deluxe but they were to big for my ears. Sadly I had to return them and I am now looking again.

Great News! I finally found a way to get the Jbl live Flex to the United States, by ordering them from Germany's Amazon.!!! That's the pair, i wanted the most because of the promised sub-bass, Wish me luck 🤞

Buds live are phenomenal if you have an android phone. Use the ear test to tune then and they are amazing

I have buds live and the fit is 10/10 for me. There are no better fitting earbuds for me from what I've tested
never regret purchasing nothing ear stick for my online meetings despite not having anc. it's been a year and noone ever complained the clarity of my words. so underrated.
It does have ANC now through a firmware update

Thanks for the video. Why not included Huawei freebuds 4/5? Bec my freebuds 4 have a compatibility issue with s23 ultra I was looking for an alternative. Based on your test I got the jbl and edifier ones. In your ranking they are rather equal but I found the jbl vastly inferior to the edifier. They are very big almost sealing the ear, inferior noice cancel and the case is crap. Interestingly both are inferior in build quality, sound and noise cancel even to the older huawei freebuds 4 that I compared them to.

AirPods will be the best for calls, no matter which model you choose. I have been using them for calls for many years, but for listening to music I prefer JBL.
Just wondering why you selected the Nothing ear stick instead of the Nothing ear 2? Do you feel that it would have made a difference with this crowd if you had? NOT a criticism. What are you pairing this with? Because I had major issues with my Airpods 3 paired with a Samsung Z Fold 4 and the connectivity was horrible until my brother borrowed my Airpods and paired them with an iPhone which gave it an update which fixed most of the issues. However, that is not a fix anyone outside of the iOS ecosystem like myself can perform as there is no way to update Airpods with anything than an iPhone or iPad. Even a MacBook cannot.
He tested them with iPhone 15 pro. I used Airpods2 with S21 and they connected terribly. Later with iPhone 13 it was great and when I switched to S23 ultra it was also very ok. AirPods combined with Samsung is a lottery

I love the ones no one mentions-- skullcandy's rail anc(s) and they sound good to me so why bother get the other options? They are over used and hyped? I wonder why no one trying the rails oh well.

When it comes to Nothing Ear Stick's sound quality, how good is it compared to Edifier W320TN, when it comes to :-
1) Vocals and instruments' portion
2) Being able to differentiate the instruments from one another and also the vocals
3) Distortion at higher volumes
I would prefer better vocal/instrumental clarity and quality, over punchy bass.
That's wild that you gave Airpod 3 a 10 for volume and sound quality. Couldn't be less factual.
