I like how he breaks down seemingly kind of straightforward, 4-8 bar loop beats, into what actually makes them sonically compelling in spite of their surface simplicity...conductor is up there with preemo, as far as the ability to create such soundscapes...I've listened to many a premier instrumental, minus the verses, and been blown away by the sheer economic simplicity and purity of a repeating 4 bar loop with some drums, a bass line, and some dropouts, and how with vocals on top, you never even realize the whole song is being carried by such a basic foundation. It's in the sound selection, and the treatment, tuning, and placement of those sounds, that the genius comes in....hats off
That beat is classic. Def was my most repeated song from the album

I love that discomfort is apart of your creative process. I hear so many of your beats and i either love em immediately or Idk how to feel, but it always felt intentional. They always grow on me but it’s like they settle into some beautiful shit. Its genius.
