Is he using his pinky in the tremolo? That's cool! I just started learning tremolo and was told to leave the useless pinky out of it.

Nathan Glenn he is using his AMI fingers to play the melody line and his P for the bass line. The pinky in moving with the rest of the fingers to avoid right hand tension.
