Ok so she didn’t take a break she was caught up in legal bindings where she wasn’t able to release albums for literally a decade! She fought against it the whole time while still releasing tracks here and there when she could, I remember her going through this while MySpace was still around. Love her and her talent, you think this is amazing, you need to hear her LIVE! It’s a whole other experience let me tell you guys! I’ve been following her since her first album JoJo 💿 🔥 and she’s gaining new fans as well as the ones from day one as she is still proving herself one of the TOP vocal artists of the last two decades! 👏🏻💯❤️

Jojo was trapped in a sheisty record deal from when she first got into the industry. She was still releasing songs and covers on soundcloud and she released an album in 2016 with some cool features.
She was screwed over by her record label and was unable to release music for years. The music industry changed during that time her type of music was no longer as popular as dance-pop music so she in some ways had to start from scratch. Though her fans stuck with her. She sadly became underrated despite her talent making her one of the best vocalists in the industry right now.

JoJo had a terrible record label ,and they weren’t allowing her to release music so that’s why she didn’t release mainstream music for years ,but she always released music on SoundCloud for her true fans even without really getting paid ,and overall she was just going through alot to say the least.
I love my girl Jojo that's why I donate for her all the time she had issues with her label and they wouldn't release music of hers for years. Nothing on the radio nothing which caused everybody to kind of forget about her except for her true fans. she's got mad talent I would say she's up there like I like her better than Ariana Grande cause she has more depth to her voice and as far as like the Tory lanez feature she likes to play around with her sound.. She goes in-and-out of different mindsets as she would say so when she made that album that was all about how she was in a relationship and she cheated on the guy so you'll see if you listen to the album that all those songs kind of talk about her relationship standpoints and her mindset at that period of time and what she was going through inside like I said that's her lane she likes to do different types of genres and she plays around with pop on some albums and then she plays around with R and B on somes albums the last 2 albums you gotta listen to mad love and good to know or r and b albums as well as her first 2 albums and then in between that she kind of went kind of pop with some of her eps

Yeah JoJo is so underrated it’s sad how the music industry did her but she’s doing great now.
Her record label sabotaged her career. She was legally bounded from releasing music for 10 something years. She won a grammy for r&b song 2 years ago but she still doesn't get the fame and recognition she deserves.
She's A vocal beast, sad that they stopped her career and her bag by not allowing her songs on streaming platforms....she couldn't even profit from her own music. Thankfully she's back

JoJo had a terrible record label but she never stop...she make solos, collab, mixtapes, unrelesed albums, agape, lovejo1, lovejo2 but most of them are in youtube, she re recorded the 2 first albums when she was very famous ..she never stop then she was free in 2014 and make this tringle, mad love, collabs, good to know, try not think about it
