- J Michael Tatum and I went to Paris in October of 2018, where I proposed to him in front of Shakespeare and Company bookstore. (Right across from Notre Dame!) A great number of English writers were helped along the way to literary success here. I thought it was a fitting metaphor for the beginning of the road to marriage.
