I've had the new bondi 9 for a week, and it's by far the best Bondi. I have a wide foot, and the standard D worked perfectly. It's softer, lighter, and just more comfortable compared to the previous 8th version. Great review!
I love max cushioned shoes. I have both the Ghost Max 1 and 2. As well as the Nimbus 26. They are all very comfortable for walking and standing. I’m not a runner but can vouch for those. Can’t wait to try out the Bondi 9. It looks like a shoe that will accomplish what I need it for.
I just picked up a pair and I never go wide in a Hoka but I had a weird feeling under my big toe and tried a wide and it just felt better. Look forward to taking them out on a run tomorrow!
Looking forward to trying these on. As a big guy I loved the 7 ,durable and cushy. Not as happy with the 8. Didn't seem to hold as well. Anxious to see how the 9 fits and olds up.
EVA gives you more bounce over TPU. Along with thick foam, it gives a really cushion feeling for a prolong period of time. However, compare to TPU, it doesnt' last as long as. But I believe it's more than enough for Bondi's target audience.
Looks like the same sole material as the last Hoka I tried, the Clifton 9. Both visually and by feel my Cliftons were cooked well before 250mi. Big shreds taken out over time as the sole wore out.
I've had bad luck w/ Hoka fit over the years. Almost nothing works. The only one that did was the Bondi 4. Haven't tried a Bondi since...but maybe I'd consider it. I don't love the arch support though....I typically prefer a flatter shoe.
Had only one hoka bondi - oh boy it was worst experience in running shoes i ever had - not joking... never again any bondi or any other EVA hoka - it was so bad. But to be honest i cannot say i ever see any runners run in bondi - all I see it on feet of stay home mums going for coffe, some gym goers and all day on feet workers .... for all which bondi 8 looked very attractive, probs best looking bondi
Karl does a great job with the audio, but I'm sorry, I couldn't hear y'all over the sound of millions of nurses opening their wallets in unison. 😄

I tried them on the other day. By far the best bondi. Hoka made a great shoe for both walkers and runners
Graphics are bangin! Looking good! As a nimbus fan I need to give this one a try. Considering a Glideride Max for my next easy/recovery shoe.
Glideride Max is definitely an underrated shoe! Really enjoy putting miles in my pair

Seems to be somewhat more space between the designs of the Bondi and the Clifton in this release: different foams and drops now.

Wondering if the Bondi 9 will come in the slip resistant and leather like the previous models did.
Can you wear a orthotic in the Bondi 9 and would I need a wider shoe to accommodate the orthotic
Hi. Like to Meaghan and Thomas. A nice week for everyone.

The Hoka Vomero
I have the Brooks Glycerin Max. I'm debating on getting this shoe. Can anyone tell me if this is better than Glycerin Max or not?

First one that isn't ugly
All white colorways are so boring, and get dirty in a hurry. I don't get the appeal.
Bondi 9>>>>>>> Bondi 8
Don't like tgd 8
