I'm quite grateful to hear Fr. Spitzer discuss transgender matters. So many Catholic parents are trying to figure out how to help these suffering youth. There are a lot of sufferers: in youth group, in CCD...in families. So many. It's quite startling to see up close in cohorts of the young.

I am continually startled by the amount of air time spent on the transgender issue on your broadcast. Tonight's show was particularly disturbing not only because of the amount of time devoted to a fairly minor issue but also because of the lack of citation of other studies from the medical community that would contradict the study that you quoted. Where is the mention of all the children killed in Gaza? Where is the emphasis upon prenatal care which would have the highest efficiency in preventing miscarriages. Between 10% and 20% of pregnancies end up in miscarriages. This is far more than the number of pregnancies terminated through abortion. It would appear in scanning the universe the EWTN is looking through the wrong end of the telescope dealing with postage stamp sized issues while ignoring other matters of greater concern.
