You know I love fragrances, so I thought this idea of building an eyeshadow palette inspired by a Summer fragrance was so fun! Please let me know if YOU decide to do this too! ☺ Next month we will be doing a palette of Forgotten Favorites (the shades we used to reach for and have somehow lost our way to 😉)
Sounds like a lovely fragrance I'd enjoy. My fave sunny scent is a discontinued Avon Ice Sheers spray (a summer LE) in Luscious, a lemony thing that reminds me of Love's Fresh Lemon before its demise, though that was loads sharper. Luscious is more like a not-too-sweet lemon cake. Although I have DC's Lemonade palette, it would be cool to take on this challenge with singles. I love seeing your thoughts & motives for each choice, and the finished palette is more interesting for getting a peek at the process. It would be great to see multiple looks from BYOP as the month goes on.
I love all of it! I love seeing what colors you picked out, but I especially love watching you create looks with your palette. (And I will always love any yellow shade on you!) (If you need inspo, maybe choose a bird from your location and base a look inspired by its plumage.)
Hey Jill! Awesome, thank you for letting me know what you enjoy about this series. I’m always curious what people appreciate most. Oh, and Team Yellow forever 🤣🫶💛
I love “Sirrah” by Tiziana Terenzi. It’s pretty seasonless but it is particularly gorgeous in the heat. I’ll see if I can compose something with 10 or 12 shades. I will try for a combination of notes and overall impressions.
Very nice palette picks!! Neutral with hints of color can be so fun. Also, I have been loving my Devinah Prelusion Eye Base! I bought two in the spring so I had a backup lol. I do my eyeshadow about every day. I love how it holds even my shimmers without using a glitter glue. 😊
I love a good palate inspiration. The idea of using fragrance for inspiration for make up is a very good one. Your pallet came out very pretty in a little bit different than I would’ve expected which was fun.

It really is such a great eye base! I love that it isn’t too tacky. Sometimes that can get annoying 🤣 glad you love yours too!

Thanks, Mel! I actually love this little palette and think I’ll keep it together for the rest of the summer !
