Video was great! Thanks. I’ve been to AC many times but experienced the most watching your video. I’m going this weekend & I’ll definitely take the tram.
Hi Jeff! I love taking the tram and enjoy riding it day and night. You meet interesting people and hear crazy stories from the driver. I can’t wait for my trip down next week and plan to try some of the new places you have shared recently.
@@NuYawk If you ever want to make a video of a Borgata Fiore suite or the Amphora Lounge, let me know. Maybe we’ll be down there at the same time one day.
I really enjoyed the ride. I find the tram ride very relaxing and sometimes I find myself feeling like I could easily doze off when I'm on it. It's also convenient because when you're on it you feel safer on the Boardwalk and don't have to worry about any of the crazies or vagrants bothering you begging for money. There's always at least one person asking for money to buy a bus ticket home or those people bothering couples trying to get them to buy a timeshare. The tram is also so convenient during rain. t's worth the $4 one way and the $10 for the all day pass especially when you're tired and your feet hurt and you are also in a hurry. However, I remember when the all day pass used to be $8. I won't be surprised if it's $12 or $15 soon. One time we had a driver who was very informative and was like a tour guide because he gave us a lot of interesting historical info about Atlantic City and the boardwalk. You would be perfect for driving the tram. I also love when the tram honks at stupid oblivious people to get out of the way LOL it makes me laugh every time.
I love to walk. Sometimes, when my feet are talking to me, I'll spend the four bucks and give the dogs a break! LOL! Don't forget to check out the new 'Thanks Button' under the video by the 'Thumbs Up' button. Help support the Nu Yawk Channel!
15:10 Seems AC could be SO MUCH more. First off I would get rid of the chairs/benches on the boardwalk as they are filled by homeless and other locals most begging for $$ , smoking weed . blasting rap music. mornings on the boardwalk are a lot different than afternoons and evenings. I do like the new outside beer garden next to trop
@@NuYawk 15:10 was showing the beer garden next to TROP..............AC needs more nice stuff like that. We go to Vegas often and were in the area last week so we took Caesars up on some comp nights in AC . I would never go to AC again. Now I know why for decades when I lived in CT we drove right past AC never stopping on the way to Wildwood
Been watching all your AC videos for the last several months in preparation of moving here. I'm sure I'll run into you eventually!! Now I'm watching to see if I spot myself on the boardwalk 🤣🤣
Hi Jeff great video once again!!! I'll be at the Trop next weekend. If you can any updates on the buffets? I heard the Fiesta is not opening again, any recommendations?
Thanks Omar! There are only two buffets in town, Hard Rock and Bellagio. I like the Hard Rock buffet ruclips.net/video/0xFPHnPUwSU/видео.html a little better than the Borgata buffet ruclips.net/video/3KP0XiX-EK0/видео.html and it's a little cheaper! Have a great trip and good luck!
HI Jeff I use the old basket pushers because I've seen these people out on the boardwalk in some really bad weather conditions and feel it's part of the AC experience. I do agree any type of transportation protects you from the beggars and con artists. When a personal transport is not available I will use the trams.
Yup They usually ask something like 'Anyone stopping at Caesars?', just say yes and they'll stop! Their hours depend on the season. Here is the current (Summer) information: Sunday - Friday: 11 AM till 7 PM and Saturday: 11 AM -9 PM. Cost: $4 one way, $2 for children under 12 and an all day pass is $10. Thanks for watching and subscribing anonymous!
@@NuYawk thanks for the info. I have reservations at Hard Rock in September so the tram might be useful just in case. Appreciate your videos as I haven’t been to AC since. 2006.
@@pettis14 Interesting Pac Man! Were they 'in service'? The website says from the Ocean Resort to the Trop and my driver said the Trop was the last stop. I'll double check when I return next week. Thanks!
@@NuYawk Yes theres definitely a spot past the trop on the boardwalk that says last stop tram or something along those lines. I could be mistaken on seeing passengers ride where the stockton boardwalk campus is but I know I've seen tram employees on them around there
Ever consider bringing your bike down or renting one on the boardwalk and riding all the way to the south end of Ventnor? It really cleans up down that way....maybe attach a go pro?
They stop at all of the hotels. It really doesn't matter though. If you see one regardless of where you are you can just flag it down like a NYC taxi! If they have room, they will stop. Thanks for watching Marilyn!
Heyy Jeff, thanks for the ride. I remember hearing you say recently docks oyster house will not accommodate single diners- did you know around the bar area they have high tables that are first come, first serve? Hope this helps....place is a can't miss!
Thanks Pac Man! I think my game plan with Docks is to just pass by every time I'm in the area and chance it! Good to know about those high-boy tables in the bar area. I could sit at the bar but that makes for an awkward and horrible video. Thanks again!
Thanks for the question David! I mentioned in earlier videos that it's a hack I learned while traveling to New Orleans which is very hot and humid in the Summer. It's keeps the sweat off my face. I find that while I wear it, I'm cooler and dryer during my busy day. While it wasn't very humid during my recent Atlantic City videos, it was in the 90's on the boardwalk where I spent a good part of the day working on videos. Thanks for watching!
@@NuYawk Thanks Jeff I just started watching your videos recently so I didn’t know . Thanks for replying . I love the AC videos I love AC and go whenever I can .
I've walked that Boardwalk many times. Even biked it a few times. Is the lady who sings gospel tunes (but doesn't really know the words) still singing up by Resorts?
Thanx for the ride Jeff!!
