curved tines are not so good as it looks because if tyne touch the ground it will pick up a lot more of soil and on those swaders the bigest problem is beceause the companies except pottinger give support wheel in front an that makes a loot better copiing of terrain and at the end much less of soil in grass
but support wheel's got the downside that they put the crop deeper into the ground. If you look at the different axle setups within the rotor there are big differences between the machines wich make way bigger chances in the rake quality then the support wheel...
Stefan Lau yes but axels are behind rotor an if there is a dump in front of rotor whill pick soil if support whell gives forage more to the ground i think that this is really not a problem at all
