I was a HUGE D4 supporter and I even bought the VoH expansion but after months and months of being a Blizzard beta tester I finally gave in. I don't get the "need" to rush the game out REGARDLESS if the game is ready or not. Gone are the "paid" internal beta testers, QA personnel and ironically, even the PTR which existed to MAKE sure the game is mostly bug free is "optional" now. What is the idea of rush! rush! Rush? Rush, Patch. Rush, Patch and this is the "norm" for Blizzard game now. Enough! I've NO DOUBT GGG can release POE2 now but a pie half baked or even 90% baked is not good! I finally gave in on Blizzard having supported them for OVER TWENTY years. POE2 will be my new game! Release the Kraken!
It will be but the way of process in doing it will be a sequence in a span of 6-12 months. They just want to take things slow so when there's a problem occurrence it will be easily fixable.

There is absolutely no chance PoE fails and the numerous gameplay leaks show how top notched the graphics are. I agree for his age it does look good but I will say according to a few creators who've been invited to events and I'm talking about like hardcore Racers who do it for a living they said that it felt better than the point and click. Obviously I haven't played it but they said that there was a lot of advantages to it. We'll have to see how it goes but yeah

Personally I'm playing and most of the community i am in says they will also...but I don't care what anyone says I'm not watching previews only the videos officially offered by GGG. and not even all of them because I want my experience to be fresh and authentic which is how I live my life. Afterwards I will share my thoughts I gave the same chance to D4 as a result I'm finished with BLIZZARD games and all of their franchises. They got my response "the old fashioned way" ... they earned it. I played PoE in beta and launch and have enjoyed the experience on and off many years and after leaving D4 2 seasons ago been playing PoE my main game till PoE 2 release on steamdeck and Xbox X and enjoying it. GL to everyone whatever your choices.
another point worth mentioning, the game is coming to consoles with couch co-op and that you can play on different accounts at the same time F**king Amazing!. also the cross platform and cross progression obviously. great video bud!
im... im like 99% sure nobody is thinking path is going to fail. you gotta remember this game is made by people who care about the game. this isnt just another paycheck like blizzard would see it
Well, that's not true at all. Besides the WASD movement and the decent graphics, that's pretty much where the comparison stops. From my character standpoint, Diablo is very, very basic-their characters hardly change from one another with their chosen skills. In Path of Exile, ascendancies affect characters very heavily, making completely different playstyles. When it comes to itemization, Diablo 4's itemization is significantly worse than Path of Exile 1's, even. That's literally one of the most common complaints in Diablo 4. When it comes to passives, Diablo 4 is very baseline and very basic. The paragon board is a bunch of samey nodes with some OK keystones that make up for a lot of the character's shortcomings, but again, it's very basic and doesn't really morph the character in any meaningful way. It makes them better but doesn't really do anything special. And then finally, obviously, when it comes to skills, it's not even close. There are significantly more skills in Path of Exile by such a massive margin you couldn't even compare them. Every character can use every skill, whereas in Diablo, it's very deterministic-a handful of skills, and in a lot of cases, people use almost exactly the same ones. So, unless you've never played a Path of Exile game, there's zero percent chance you'd think they are comparable in any way in terms of them having similar things.
I will play it for sure at least to test it, but if the game keep being as slow as all footage we got its not my cup of tea. I dont want to run like a madman, but all the footage i saw are crazy slow its like the game is made for 5 years old... bosses are slow and so are the character movements out of evade. If things dont speed up at least mid game its done for me.

Graphics are still amazing in poe especially for its age. Also WASD movement in an arpg feels unnatural.

D4 has had WASD since season 3.
They do, but in Poe2 you can shoot/attack meanwhile moving. In D4 you cannot cast anything while move. Your hero will stop.
im waiting for it soooo much, 24 oct and 7 nov they will reveal a support packs which when you buy you will receive a key to early access :D
