Apt tune altho pedal should be East wood with Norwegian wood! Great playing, but that is why I subscribe and just enjoy listening to you, without much concern of the gear.
I've been a bit burned out, as I'm sure we all are, on transparent drives but something about this one is drawing me in. Demo's sound great, all sorts of different guitars, what for you sets this apart? thanx
Hey Mike, how would the Westwood fare as a pedal to stack into other pedals or an amp to get the 'your tone, just with more gain and the same output volume' thing? Is there anything you'd recommend over it for that effect?
Brenn....this pedal is great man. I keep mine set pretty mild.... level and gain at about 10 o'clock....bass around 1 o'clock and treble neutral or 12 o'clock. I find myself just leaving it on. Then the Westwood goes into a Keeley Red Dirt that I set more aggressive ....after that a EP Booster set mild just to color the sound. They all like each other ....alot Haha 👍
Wow, Pat Metheny's Bright Size Life! You never cease to amaze me!
John Marquez thanks! Trying to add some standards into the demos- without going full on jazz...
Damn you man. You make me want to buy all the things you demonstrate.
Superb Metheny Cover! Wanted it to go on and on!
Bob Mac thanks! I love that tune
Good demo, Mike. I'm considering this pedal. Already have a Dunes, and it's killer.
This has to be one of the greatest overdrive circuits in existence, right?
Playing as usual superb. ( i ended up buying the pedal because it's close to a Timmy and it sounds good with my amp)
Red Apple Radio thanks for watching!
Love the playing and the music, Mike built a fire. 🔥 Pedal is an overdrive, shrug.
wgb01001 haha! There’s a lot of overdrives out there for sure
I have an ocd 1.4 I’m looking forward to comparing this with it and seeing how they stack with a velvet fuzz. Killer review as always.
Late reply but I have this and it stacks really well with a lot of fuzzes

Robert Twiddy I appreciate it!
Great demo! I'm curious to see how this will sound on my 5W tube.
Wow! You gotta rerelease Norwegian Wood. That was killer,.
Tony S thanks! I like how that one came out
Mike Hermans
Yeah man.. Johnny would have loved the way that one turned out!
Never cease to amaze..
Which overdrive would you say this is similar to in tone and how it breaks up?
I'm a sucker for low gain drives with two band active EQ. Nuff said.
Jermaine Long this is a good one. Definitely has its own sound and feel
Mike Hermans
Yeah I can hear that but I'm gonna resist as my pedal collection is far more impressive than my playing😉

Cool things, this single pedals
Are you going to do an eqd plumes review?
Hey Mike, how does this one compare to the Sandare by Magnetic Effects?
Isn't it good...
Lovely Bright Size Life ;-)

If a jam band was a pedal.
