Honestly they need to give more minutes to defensive players like Bam and AD (only played 14 minutes each this game). Maybe they are saving them. IMO the best lineup is Lebron (primary scorer - most consistent so far), AD, Bam, Jrue, then last one can be a secondary scorer. Embiid can score but opponents are continously taking advantage of his slowness to score. He can give you 20 on the stat sheet & give the opponent 20 (less obvious on the stat sheet). Curry is great when he is hot but his FG% has been bad for most games thus far. In a 7 game series, losing a game or 2 due to bad shooting is ok but you cant afford to lose a game in these touneys. These guys are all top tier in the right team compositions but the current synergy doesnt make sense to me.
these are not exhibition games, sheesh... these are chances for the national teams to actually play a game or two before the tournament starts. these are testing games since none of the teams are put together like this during regular season. all national teams are set up just now and they need some game mileage to get to play as a team.

Embiid showed up today. This team was supposed to have great perimeter D with Holiday, Haliburton, Booker, and Edwards -- so far the perimeter D has been what's getting them in trouble. So many open looks for Germany. I know the line being closer makes it tougher to defend the three, but...these guys have got to step it up on the defensive end.
